After my 10min consultation with the doctor, I went back to pay. I was then informed that if I had come on a weekday and seen the same doctor, it would've cost me $40 instead. And prices vary by the day of the week, time of day and doctor. I told the receptionist I would have really appreciated that information when I walked it. I was very obviously not having a medal emergency and told her if I had known I would have gladly come back during the week. Her response was a very snarky, "Sorry. Have a good day." I was astounded how incredibly rude she was. Although the doctor was nice, I will NOT be returning after that service.

It doesn't feel cold and sterile either though; it's actually quite cozy and inviting. I find the reception staff here to be very friendly and personal, and the doctors were also friendly and understanding too. My sister took her daughter here, and she agrees that the doctors are very helpful and hold excellent bedside manners (especially with the children). This place isn't bulk billing, however a Medicare rebate is available and health care cardholders receive a discount.

He's had hearing aids for a few years, but the place where he usually got his batteries had been closed for a little while, and he needed a replacement. Now, I'm known as the family geek. It usually falls to me to sort out problems like dodgy electronics, etc. So here I am, hearing aid battery in hand, and I've got no frigging idea about the actual specs of the battery. I don't know what voltages, etc, it requires, and of course, the old battery had been thrown away. I took it into this place, and not only did they tell me what I needed, but they sorted it all out for me. Good place. Saved me a lot of stuffing around.
