All the drinks and snacks you could possibly ever want on the road, but more importantly, at home. The beaver is branded on everything and they have so much more than this, I'm just scratching the surface. BBQ Brisket or BBQ pulled-pork sandwiches made fresh and lined up and ready to grab - one of the best things is that since they are always making them and people are always getting them, they're fresh and ready to grab. No waiting. Just grab one and go. And since they're always making them, they haven't been sitting around like some other places. All Buc-ee's are slightly different configurations. Some are bigger than others. Always great though! Hot fudge, tacos, breakfast options, coffee options with cold cream ready to mix in, ... I always get the roasted glazed pecans and beaver nuggets. As I drive Uber, I'm always going by one of the Buc-ees around Houston, Dallas, or on a he way to Austin or Galveston. I always make a point to stop and fill up from one of the hundreds of pumps there, use the toilet, and grab some beaver nuggets or popcorn to bring home and surprise the family. There are also, occasionally, what I call "baby Buc-ees" that are much much smaller but still worth dropping in and using. In short, I can't recommend this place enough. If you don't know Buc-ee's, you're missing out!

If you like to fish or just drive slowly along the bay for a rare undeveloped stretch, it's a treat to stop at what's really a gas station/convenience store. For the convenience of its regulars who don't always want to eat fish or drive into town, J & T sell pizza, hot wings. and will make you a genuine old fashioned burger, BLT, or patty melt.

This place has it all!!! They have tables where you can sit and enjoy your meal. Look for Anthony Bourdain's signature carved in the table. We started with the spring rolls and shrimp wraps. Unfortunately after we put in our order and sit down they let us know they were sold out of the shrimp wraps. Awwww... I saw them and they look so good. Too bad! Maybe next time. The chicken bahn mi was delicious and the chargrilled chicken over steamed rice. Definitely different than what I have had before and very tasty. Full of flavor and I liked the chargrilled pieces. Service was awesome. The people working here were very friendly and patient. It took me a while to decide on what to get and they didn't get upset. She waited while I decided. Now you have more options in town and it is over priced but it works if you need a few items quickly. You can get licenses for the beach and fishing here, as well as the mentioned fishing supplies. They have expanded over the years and have clothes and it looks like they took over the old post office and you can get food to eat there. They sell shirts that misidentify the Gulf of Mexico which is sad to a long time resident of the gulf area but the staff was really friendly. A good place to stop to get supplies for a trip to the beach.
