I'm always on the lookout for a good Po'Boy so I knew that I had to try out the one from Bayou Box. I ordered online-which was super easy and headed to the store. They have a decent sized parking lot and the interior is pretty large. They have a few arcade games and I noticed everything was pretty clean. The individuals I interacted with to pick up my food were pleasant and my order was 100% correct. I ordered a bunch of stuff because I wanted to try several things. I went with a shrimp Po'Boy to start. You can build your own Po'Boy by specifying the base-bread, rice, or nothing for my low carb peeps; grilled or fried shrimp, fried catfish, fried oysters, Italian, or shredded beef; and then finally toppings. The sandwich was good sized and had a large amount of popcorn shrimp. I went with standard dress-lettuce, tomato, pickles and found it was really fresh. Highly recommended the Po'Boy and I will definitely come back for another! I got a ton of sides. Fries-come tossed in a Cajun seasoning. I wasn't blown away by them but there wasn't anything wrong with them either. Hush puppies- I normally hate hush puppies but I loved theirs. I liked the actual pieces of corn in them. A side contains 4 but they do have a larger size and I recommend getting that one! I know I got a fried shrimp Po'Boy but I also got a side of fried shrimp. These were different from the ones on the sandwich. The sandwich ones were more of a popcorn style and the ones by themselves were more of actual fried shrimp. I really like the fried shrimp by themselves and I would definitely get it again as an appetizer or just to eat extra shrimp. I also got a side of white cheddar mac. It was good, very creamy and the cheese was super sharp. I probably wouldn't get it again because some of the other sides were better imo but it's not bad. My absolute favorite side was the cheesy grits. The grits were so good. They were creamy but still had texture from corn. The flavors were really balanced and nice. I will definitely get grits every time I come here. Finally, the last side was the Bayou logs. They are pretty much just mozzarella sticks. And they were good, but I probably wouldn't get them again. I am really happy that I found an awesome Poboy place not too far from me. I definitely recommend that you check them out. Get a Poboy and get some grits and hush puppies and have a happy belly.

Mozz sticks are really good but the ettoufe tasted like it came out of a can. Like zero flavor, super watery, kinda gross.

From the moment I walked in, the staff was so friendly, welcoming, and just genuinely personable. You can tell they enjoy what they do. The drinks were on point. Not pictured is the peach + blueberry margarita the bartender whipped up for me, but it deserves its own shoutout because it was that good. For appetizers we had the crab cakes, which were seasoned perfectly, and then I ordered the bossa fish for my meal. PERFECTION. Like... melt-in-your-mouth, flavorful, no notes. Can't wait to go back and try more!

Now that the streetcar has a stop close by, I parked elsewhere, hopped on the streetcar, and was finally able to stop in. It was a busy day because of a special they were running, but the staff stayed friendly and attentive despite the crowd. The restaurant was smaller than I anticipated, but the food was good. We all ordered wings. I had mine with cajun rice, while the kids had fries. Everything came out hot, and the wings were tasty. The fries were homemade, but the Cajun rice was my favorite, it had just the right amount of spice. I also tried a pink lemon drop, which was pretty good as well. Overall, I enjoyed this visit and will return to try some of the other menu items.
