It is in a brand new building and even has a second floor. In the back is the guns and AMMO section where all types of guns and all kinds of ammunition are stocked behind a -manned-counter. Some AMMO in here I never heard of including ammunition by Browning. I saw lots of 22's in stock back there also. They have nice clean bathrooms too. There's lots of clothes and hunting accessories that are sold here. You can find just about anything in this sporting goods store. My experience on this visit; As soon as I walked in several friendly associates spoke to me. As I walked to the back, Larry in the (guns and AMMO) section even shook hands with me. As I got ready to check out, another associate went out of her way to help me. Yes, everybody likes their job that works here. I mean you can tell. At least I can. Hours: They are open Monday thru Friday from 9am to 5:30pm. Furthermore, they are open on Saturdays from 10am to 3pm. In summary, it's a great store that has great customer service with great sporting goods for hunters and fishermen alike. It is clean and has about everything you need to go hunting and fishing. This local sporting good store was clean, neat and easy to get around. My son needed more boots, my nephew wanted to wade so needed more boots and my brother needed a variety of knives for hunting. There wasn't ANYTHING in this store that you could need and want that wasn't there. It's a bit pricey but that could be said about all hunting items... I have no complaints or compliments about the customer service, I think the employees were a little shocked to see a whole crew of black people willing to spend money...idk... I say that because they didn't NOT help us...but they didn't CATER to us in the way that i was expecting. Again no complains....Simmons even had some things for my grandchildren...got my dad a hat...I mean...I just had a ball in this store.

I was pretty surprised at the large variety of clothing and shoes available - North Face, Ugg, and Patagonia to name a few. The ladies' section is in the back corner and we were not greeted by staff in the hunting section. The sale section prices are pretty decent. There were Ugg sandals for $30 which is a great price. However, everything else was pretty pricey. I can't imagine I'll stop in here often when I'm in White Hall, but it is good to know it's there if I need to kill some time.

I am really not sure what has happened to this company, but it used to be a wonderful company and…read moreeasy to deal with. I ordered a case of shells, and a call. upon receiving my package, there was one box (9 boxes short of a case) and it was the completely wrong ammo, not what I ordered. The lady at customer service was very rude, arguing with me and telling me that I did get the correct shells, when I had them in my hand and had emailed her an image of what was received. they were not in fact the correct shells. She informed me that she didn't know when the rest of the shells would be shipped and they appeared to be out of stock (they were listed in stock on their online inventory) and after arguing with me about that, I told her I'd be glad to pay for the one box, but I wished to cancel the order. She told me it could take a while to process, which I do understand, and that she had set the refund in motion and to check back in two weeks is when I should expect to see it. Fast forward three weeks (left one extra week for good measure) and still no return. I call and inquire, I am told that there is no refund to be seen but after explaining everything, and seeing that there had been issues with the file, he set the return in motion. Fast forward 4 days, I see the refund come through, but for the value of the shells only, not the call. I politely inquire again, and and told that he can see where the call was returned, it not refunded so set the refund in motion. And now I am patiently waiting another 2-3 weeks (with business days only) to see a full refund from a completely botched order. I understand that we all make mistakes, but the way this was handled, the return not being set in motion initially, and then the initial phone call with the lady arguing with me telling me I did receive the correct item when it definitely was not the same box of shells I had ordered, really all just turned me off of MPW. I grew up ordering out of the catalogs as a young kid, and MPW catalogs inspired me to always want to hunt flooded timber green heads form a young age. Rest in peace to what used to be a good company, and thank you for the times it was good, but I think I am committed Roger's customer now. Save yourself the hassle, don't shop here.
