This place is a scam. To be able to get a regular physical, you first have to "establish care " with a video conference. Prepare to pay anywhere from $150 to $400 BEFORE you even get to see someone for a regular check up, and they won't tell you how much ot will be, it all depends on what is discussed, they say. This is before you even get to see anyone or get any wellness check!! We unfortunately didn't know they were doing this until we had 3 of these for our family. We never got our wellness check but we did get billed for $674 ! Needless to say, we went went elsewhere for our family of 6. read more

I have been seeing Dr Griggs at this clinic for 3+ years, and LOVE her! But increasing problems with the Administration/Customer Service/Network Insurance Department have been a nightmare. On the phone, they repeatedly acknowledge that my insurance is one that they accept in network, and that the employer I am insured with is in fact on their list. But even after multiple Supervisors have supposedly "fixed it", it continues to revert back in their computer to show as not in network and my appointments are canceled until they can fix it. Currently I have waited for 2 months for a fix they said would take a few days. Scott & White has such a monopoly in the Temple TX area, it looks like I will have to drive south towards Austin to find a good doctor not tethered to Scott & White. Sad! read more

I drive from Hutto to see Dr. Flory at Westfield. She has been my Doctor for 15 years and is the best Family medicine doctor anywhere ,PERIOD. Westfield is always courteous and prompt when I need to see my Doctor. No complaints whatsoever. 5 stars.. read more

Truthfully, I was apprehensive about going to this clinic. I moved here from Austin a few months ago, not too long after my primary care guy retired. He was the owner of a solitary practice and employed an ECG technician, a phlebotomist, several nurses, and clerical staff, but no PA or other MD. He worked 60 hours a week (7am to 6pm Mon-Fri & 7am to 12 pm Sat), charted by hand in the exam room, and left the typing and filing to a scribe and the office staff. So I had become accustomed to an old school doctor who faced me rather than a computer screen, listened to everything I said, answered my questions, and sat in a chair instead of standing with one foot out the door trying to rush to the next patient. He had the ability to do all that because there was no one else telling him to hurry, spend less time with patients, etc. Although I didn't expect that level of care from other doctors I was afraid a clinic setting owned by a massive healthcare organization like Baylor Scott & White would be pretty much the opposite of what I was used to so I put off finding a new doctor as long as possible. Finally, after extensive research, I made an appointment with Dr Din at BSW Temple Westfield Clinic. He ordered some tests, so I had blood drawn at the clinic lab. Okay, that was amazing. About 85% of those who try to get blood from me can't do it on the first attempt and end up sticking me two or three times. Not only was the first time a success at Westfield, but I actually didn't even feel the needle, and the next day there was no bruising. That may not seem like a big deal, but for me it was simply incredible. After that I figured I'd gotten my share of medical joy, but Dr Din turned out to be an intelligent listener who immediately comprehended my situation and health issues, asked relevant questions, and delivered straightforward answers to my questions without talking down to me. So, this whole extremely long and convoluted explanation led to a 5 star rave. read more

I have always had great care from S&W so my experience at this clinic was very unexpected. While searching for a new PCP I contacted S&W and was assigned Dr. Sheikh Rizwan Karim-Ud-Din, aka Dr. "Din." While he appeared to listen to my health concerns and prescribe the necessary medications he was somewhat difficult to understand and seemed to have trouble comprehending / translating some of what I was saying. None of this was an issue until the pharmacy had trouble filling one of my inhaler prescriptions. My insurance required a prior-authorization and it took 2 weeks, 4 faxes from the pharmacy, 6 phone calls to this clinic and one call to S&W Patient Relations to receive a response. I spoke with multiple different people at this clinic and every person had a different story / seemed to be incapable of finding a record of any of my previous calls or the faxes from the pharmacy. Additionally, the incompetent case worker at patient relations seemed completely undisturbed by the fact that my severe asthma requires a rescue inhaler and I had gone 2 weeks without being able to get my prescription. Fast forward nearly a month since my original appointment; The clinic was incapable of getting approval for the inhaler I have been using for nearly 15 years, which resulted in me being prescribed an inhaler that does not work. After becoming ill and having to rely on this worthless inhaler for nearly 2 weeks I contacted the clinic again and requested to speak with the doctor regarding this problem. I was astonished when I checked mychart this morning to discover a different prescription had been called in for me, but received absolutely no notification, email or phone call from the doctor or any of his staff. The customer service / patient concern with the facility is non-existent and I will NOT be seen by them again. What an embarrassment. read more

I have always received great care at Westfield Clinic. They have many doctors and nurse practitioners to choose from- I've seen a couple and they've all been great. I've needed to have an X-ray done before and they were able to do it and have it read on sight. The lab technicians I've had were all great, efficiently drawing blood while putting me at ease. The clinic has a large "waiting area" with a table for children to color at, a large television usually showing the news, and a large fish tank. There are 3 or 4 reception windows, and while they aren't all staffed, I don't think I've ever had to wait more than a minute to be helped. The lab area is to one side of the waiting area and never seems to be crowded- it's nice to have quick service when you're having blood drawn rather than sit and wait half an hour in panic mode! If you're going to be sick or need a shot or something unpleasant, this clinic is probably one of the best places to end up! There is always parking available close by, plenty of seating, and enough space so you don't feel like you're being smothered by sick patients! read more

I've been going to the Westfield Clinic for a few years to see Dr. Flory. I've never enjoyed going to see "the Doctor" but she's always made me feel comfortable and has always been patient & kind. The staff are friendly when checking in and out and they always make sure I have the info I need for future appointments. In watching others at the clinic, I think it is so important in today's high tech world to remember that we are all humans and there are two sides to every interaction/conversation. Everyone makes mistakes and no one is perfect. Remember what you bring to the table matters to. If you want to be treated with kindness & compassion, exhibit the same to others. The old virtue of "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" is becoming so much more important with everyone rushing online to vent. read more

S&W built this clinic in 2010 & it's very nice. The reception area doesn't have that clinic feel, very upscale especially compared to the other older clinics. Love the big tv, kiddy play area & the fish tank. read more

I wish I could leave a positive review for Dr Din as he is a fairly new doctor in the area but unfortunately I cannot. I usually don't leave medical reviews but he and this Scott and White location represent many things that are wrong with the American healthcare system. Didn't adequately address my issues and received erroneous charges that his office failed to correct. I feel obligated to urge good hardworking people to avoid places like this that place profit ahead of care. read more

The staff here are supportive and friendly. The providers and NPs are fantastic! I've never been treated anything but kindly. The only complaint I have is that they're so busy that it's hard to get in with my PCP quickly but in those cases I've always gotten right in with a NP and they've been fantastic. read more

I am so frustrated with this place. I went in in the rain with the kids for a knee injury. The brace I needed was going to be $400. So they sent me clear accross town in the rain with my kids and my bum knee to get one cheaper at a medical supply office. But they miscomunicated with them and the brace was still $400 and would take 3-4days to come in. So I go back to the clinic in the rain to get the knee brace I should have gotten the first time. After waiting for the docor to get off lunch the nurse came in to fit me and was putting the brace on backwards. I had to tell her that the henges were suppose to bend. She went and got help and they placed the medium on me and said it was good and sent me home. Now that the swelling has gone down it is way too loose and is a $400 piece of trash and they are telling me that I can come back for the small if I pay another $400. I have never had service this bad in my life. read more

Dr. Griggs is beyond amazing as she's very personable and understanding. She reviews your history prior to seeing you and thinks outside the box! The clinic is fast and courteous and very quick on replies and medication refill services. Totally recommend Dr. Griggs hands down. read more

I'm highly concerned about records here....one day I get a call about my MRI results which I had waited over 2 weeks for...then when I called 2 weeks after I got my results, I was told I never had an MRI!!! I have found this office to not be updated with their records/patient history, very concerned!! Either they don't know how to look up records (what are they treating me for, that's scary because they could kill a person like that!), lose records-privacy issue!!! Needless to say, I'm changing my primary care doctor!!! read more
