The cost of the project, when you break it down, shows that a good portion of that cost goes to somewhere other than the work being done or the cost of materials. When you pay over 10k for a project then you expect a professional job and not the bare minimum then the rest disappear. These are my opinions and experience. Your results may be different. I feel the job was rushed, corners cut and again. When you pay a lot of money then you would expect at least 3/4 or more of that finance to go towards labor and product. Heck, If I can earn $4,000 or more just by making a few phone calls... Order and deliver some wholesale pavers, hire someone to remove old concrete, A team of foreign laborors from South America, then count me in but that is exactly my experience. So let's just say I refuse to hire this company again and leave it at that.

I gave him the exact address, description, and dimensions yet each time he sent us a quote it was incorrect. We specifically said 'no flat roof' since the beginning , he quoted us for a flat roof. We particularly measured ourselves a distance of 28 screen enclosure, he quoted for just the existing lanai at 12 feet. And each time he had to make changes, he made it sound like it was our fault that he cannot get the design right . we asked him on three separate occasions why he is not coming out to measure? He said he can pull up all the information online. We are in construction no matter how small or large the job is. Tile work , kitchen , roof etc all needs in person attention to ensure the job is done efficiently and correctly. We would never and the client to send photos or take measurements for a quote , that is part of getting the job. A Large project of footers, pavers, and a screen enclosure should require the same approach in my opinion. We always meet with the customer. To get a better idea of what the job entails, and to completely understand their vision. Josh refused to do calls for the most part, telling me I had to email him . Looking back at my emails and providing screenshots. I have contacted him back in 2021 when my neighbor had their patio done and he gave me the same lazy approach to Sales - refusing to call us back or come out for measurements . His conversations were short and brief, he may be the son of the owner or a relative. I really don't know nor care. But for the owner reading this review - the entitlement status in this company is what is hurting your business. after the 3rd or so estimate (still was NOT getting our design correct also with a 400% price increase of the exact design our neighbor has) we called the office to request a different sales person ...wanting to give this company the benefit of the doubt. An equally young and arrogant sales manager called and within the first two sentences of me speaking. He interrupted me three times almost wanting to argue. My husband jumped on the phone and said we will take our business elsewhere. Some may have had good experiences with Josh, but from our experience in the construction field he is taking an inactive, sluggish, and HANDS OFF role in sales. And mind you, this is a 5 figure job we are paying for. so we will happily take our business elsewhere, even if we have to pay more for less stress .

We were assigned a project manager for the process who has worked there for a couple of years. The design process was incredibly disorganized. The project manager would bring obsolete drawings to meetings, it would take over a week to get responses from them, and there was little feedback as we were picking out items as regards to how it would impact the budget. We went through the process assuming that they were recommending products that fit our budget but that assumption was far from the truth. The first revision of the budget was roughly double the low end estimate and 50% higher than the top end we were given in our initial design package. So we told them that we needed to get the number down and that day they took us countertop shopping at a place that was even more expensive then our initial countertops we chose. That was when we really started getting a bad taste in our mouths. On next budget call were shown a budget that dropped roughly 10% but was way outside of the range. after being told that they were cutting a lot out of the budget. I told them I wanted to shut this process down and move on after seeing this. That is when the owner stepped in trying to save the project. She started looking closely at the proposed budget and it became increasingly clear that she had relied on the project manager to come up with the budget and had not looked at the details. This was incredibly disappointing to hear that she was not involved enough to review the numbers that were being presented to customers. She convinced us to do another revision. This time they cut a good amount out of the scope to get us closer to the top end of the budget but at this point we no longer felt good about moving on with them as our contractor. We shut the project down. We requested to not pay the full amount at the end of project as the plans were not actionable and we were accused of being the problem for being overbudget. They pointed out a few items that they said were not in the initial scope two of which I had noted in the first two communications with them. Very unprofessional to not admit that you are part of the problem. Nonetheless we would not recommend working with them as we feel we just threw money away on a bait and switch scheme. The one good thing I will say is that their design was very nice and functional.

He did not apologize and the tone of his voice was curt and uncaring. We all have been late but when we are caring professionals are apologetic rather than rude and cutting the conversation short when it was apparent we would not be doing business. Not picking up the phone within minutes of calling him back was also an uncaring and an unapologetic touch.
