Typical German Gasthaus. Décor is just so so.
Since we…read morearrived at an odd time, there was only one other table, assuming local regulars as they were spinning tall tales and nursing their beers.
However as usual for spots like this, the food was great. I had a Schaschlik, which is not listed on the main menu, but was the special of the day and it was yummy. Nice tender, saucy. And the fries, fresh, hot, crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside... just the way they are supposed to be.
My friend had some sort of fish chips, which he thought were to die for. He snarfed them up in no time.
The beer selection is great also, but then again, that is typical for this part of the country.
