I…read moredon't have to wait months to get an appointment, which was one of the main reasons I chose this facility. The entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. Also, the wait time has always been less than ten minutes for me. My doctor is Dr. Suzanne Shipman. She's incredibly compassionate and helpful, and is straight-forward with answering my questions. I feel comfortable discussing my health problems with her and I know she won't laugh at me or judge the things I say. Dr. Shipman, along with all the nurses that I've interacted with, really seem to put me at ease, since I can get a bit nervous whenever I see a doctor. I get the impression that everyone here genuinely cares for people. You aren't just a symptom or diagnosis. You're a person with a story who needs their help. Also, I can tell that the doctors and nurses really want to help the patients they're seeing, which is great considering I've had some doctors in the past that don't really care about you or your problems. Additionally, I had to go into the main building and get some blood drawn for labs. The lab techs were very understanding of the fact that I generally don't "do well" with getting my blood drawn (i.e. I faint). They kept me distracted during the blood draw, which wasn't horribly painful, and didn't immediately kick me out afterward even though they had people waiting.

Until recently, I had taken advantage of the civil service health benefits until I became aware just how good this place is. Everyone in this facility is truly helpful. I changed my primary provider to the VA. I also took the age-related tests and procedures. Every time I've been here it's been superb. Their audio clinic is the best I've seen. Their eye clinic is second to none. And on another level, I volunteer at a nearby ski area with the adaptive ski program. Every year, the White River Junction VA, sends many of their Wounded Warrior patients to the ski area, absolutely with no charge to them. A wonderfully admirable action for those who have given their all for our freedoms. This is an awesome place

I went to the emergency room here last night due to severe ear drum pain that I couldn't even…read morebreathe from, I got there a 9:00 pm and was sat down by the lady at the desk and never in my 17 years of living have I seen such poor shitty service from an emergency room , I waited from 9:00 and wasn't called in a room Intill 1:05 am I was sitting there for 2 hours with an 8 YEAR OLD BOY who was also in the same pain as me with his mother and he still wasn't seen either he ended up leaving by 11:30 and was sick of there lack of service now when you tell them you have extreme 10 out of 10 pain clearly they don't care! I get that the have to take the more important patients first but seriously the lack of support they have there is insane , instead of bringing me back into an actually hospital bed room I was sat in a triage , and I know they had rooms because I saw atleast 4 kids being put in a hospital room while I sat there uncomfortably at 1:00 am not being seen in time I ended up leaving because my pain was so bad and at this point it was already 2:00 am and wasn't seen at all yet , this place fucking sucks and I recommend that you just stay home from you're pain instead of going to the emergency room where you won't be cared for at all . Screw that place shut down if you can't care for somebody within 4 hours
