After about 6 months after my first haircut with her, and the tips she's provided, my hair is low key thriving! Let's start off with location... She's located downtown Hayward off B Street. Although, parking kinda sucks, and it is the Main Street with so many cars, her place is so cute! Inside her place, there plenty of seating, and a lot of chairs available. For the most part, whenever I go see her, I'm probably the only other client inside - just incase you guys get nervous for Covid reasons. Nancy is so welcoming. She starts off asking you what you want to do with your hair, and she observes and starts framing your face to see if you would like it and gives out suggestions as needed. Then she washes your hair, and then she begins the cut. She's so knowledgable in the industry. She given me helpful advice on how to maintain my hair. For reference, I've always had to wash my hair daily because it's always getting so oily. So she's given me tips on how to prevent it. And after 6 months of following tips, and seeing what works for me, my hair is fuller, healthier, and thriving as I've mentioned. I came in completely confused trying to…read morefind a new concealer, and she went above and beyond helping me figure out not only the perfect concealer, but also a moisturizer, foundation, and even makeup wipes that were better for my skin. I mentioned the wipes I had been using before, and she kindly explained they actually weren't the best option because they can dry your skin out. I looked it up and she was 100% right. She really knew her products and took the time to educate me instead of just trying to sell me anything. What stood out the most was how patient, kind, and professional she was the entire time. While she was helping me, another customer interrupted saying she was in a rush and needed help immediately. Alexa politely asked if I minded waiting for just a moment, quickly helped the other customer find everything she needed, checked her out, and then came right back to continue helping me without missing a beat.
