I had a very positive experience with Baunat when shopping for a diamond engagement ring. After having done a minimum amount of research on diamond terminology and what I thought I was looking for, I contacted Baunat to schedule a visit to the stop. I dealt with Frédérique who was very friendly and patient with me. She showed and explained to me the different products which I had expressed interest in and also provided some similar design choices to ensure I could make the best decision. I left the shop with more knowledge than when I entered and I was encouraged to visit other shops to see that the price offered by Baunat was really the market price. I did do a bit of research with two other retailers and the pricing I received was relatively aligned with that of Baunat (the pricing of Baunat included the diamond plus the band whereas the pricing of the other retailers was just that of the diamond). Thus, based on this information and the positive feeling I received from the visit to Baunat I decided (finally on the ring and carot size) to continue with the purchase. I must say, that even if it wasnt the lowest price, the customer service easily makes up for the difference. I was in constant communication with Baunat and I always received a response to my emails within 48 hrs (most likely within 24hrs). I was not shy with asking questions either. I am very pleased to have decided to work with them on such an important purchase and I would not hesitate to not only recommend them, but to purchase more diamonds from them in the future.
