Hardware stores are my favorite place on the planet as a native Midwestern (Menard's ). However, coming to Bauhaus (behind Cepa) is something I've hated while living in Ankara. For example, my grandmother asked for two products and was told they would arrive in two business days (no checks in their database). I pressured them to find these products and they miraculously appeared.
The staff at Bauhaus act like its our job to do their jobs. On today's visit, I found hardly any people to ask questions to. I found managers hidden behind counters socializing on many occasions. I had to approach them and hunt them down. I stood next to a clerk and he did not acknowledge my existence. I had to separate clerks from their pack to ask them questions.
The material they have on sale is very good quality. However, I enjoy visiting local hardware stores that make the effort to acquire the goods you need than coming to Bauhaus. read more
