11 2925. I went in there to snowmobile battery. I told the guy it was $34 but he claims that all the stores are different and it was his website so he persisted and charged me $59 $34 battery and I brought in a court charge and he even deduct that from the price and they never even gave me a receipt. These guys are incompetent a year ago. I had put a screen on an iPhone. They told me done. I went and picked it up and all around the edges of the glass was broken I said I'm not taking this. This is unacceptable. They argued with me. I will never go to this place again ever are way too expensive. It's outrageous. You can go get the same stuff down the street cheaper. They're liars they're cheaters and is 11 oh man what the fuck day is it? I'm returning it back and if they don't give me my money back, I'm having my yank it out of their see how they like getting ripped off me double for a battery. This store has been my go-to battery store. I have always been happy, but I will not return. The worker refused to honor the warranty on the battery I purchased less than two years ago. There was a year and half left on the warranty and the attendant made up an excuse by blaming me for "battery negligence"...therefore voiding the warranty. The battery died several times this winter and had to continually be jumped. It was my fault that it's cold here and the battery was not performing. Went across the street to purchase a new battery at another store and will not return to BP. read more

I have bought many car and boat batteries at the. BRD store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I have a Toyota Highlander that was killing batteries. I had it in to Lakes Country Toyota, and they kept missing the problem and keeping my car with no lease or loaner. After three dealer trips to Toyota they sold me $160 Toyota True start battery , and then another trip a $150 battery terminal, and keeping my car while they made time to get to it. We took it to Batteries Plus in BRD. They were nice enough to test our starter ,battery and then said the alternator was not putting out enough amps--which is something the poor Toyota techs could not figure out. I finally got it fixed, and will return to Batteries plus to buy a Batteries Plus AGM unit when the TOYOTA battery ages out. I am greatful that the staff at Batteries plus diagnosed our Highlander problem when Lakes Country Toyota wasted a lot of our money and keep our car in their parking lot -till they could grace us with their shop attention again. read more

******DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE REPAIRED HERE****** I brought my phone in to be repaired on the afternoon of Friday, Nov 25th (black Friday). The glass on the screen was broken, but every other component of the phone worked perfectly (this was tested and confirmed by the tech on site). Once the phone was repaired they called my boyfriends phone to let us know, and we went back to pick it up. We didn't run through the same testing/diagnostics on the phone as we had when I dropped it off but I didn't think much of it, just grabbed my phone, paid and left. Later on when I tried to answer a call I couldn't hear anything, but again didn't think much of it because I was in an area where I was known to have very poor reception. The next day, the same scenario occurred with a phone call in a different location, except I had full service, I pressed the speaker phone button and could hear the person on the call loud and clear. I then realized that my camera didn't work, either, and there was a black 'squiggle' in the screen, looked like a small feather was trapped underneath the glass. I called the store and let them know what was going on (I am not from the area, but was visiting family for the Thanksgiving holiday) the man that answered told me it was no problem, this was a common issue and I could bring it to my local Batteries Plus for a warranty repair, they could fix it in no time. On Monday, 11/28m I brought my phone into my local Batteries Plus where I was helped by a wonderful employee Nathaniel, he was able to let me know that NO this does not happen all the time, in fact, this happens on a very small percentage of screen replacements (regarding the speaker + camera issue) and he had never seen anything like the screen issue. He took off the screen saw that my speaker was in fact broken, didn't have the parts to replace the other components that were broken (in total in was my forward facing camera, rear facing camera, proximity sensor, led light , speaker and screen that needed to be replaced) but he did put on a new screen for me. After leaving my local store on the evening of 11/28 I called this location to speak to the manager, I was told the employee there was aware of the situation and he would let the manager know in the morning (manager would be in 8a-4p on 11/29, and this employee would be in at 10am) so I should expect a call in the morning. I hadn't heard anything, so I called around 12:15 and was told there was no manager in the store, I mentioned that I was told the manager would be there between 8a and 4p and I was expecting a call but never received one, they told me he was out for the day because he had hurt his back - with no explanation to why I never received the phone call I was promised? They told me he would be in the next day, and that he would call me. Again, I never heard from him, so I called around the Noon hour. I asked for a manager, and the man who answered the phone asked for my name, when I told him the response was something like, "oh, you, yea, he's been waitin for this!". Once I was able to reach Felix (the manager) he yelled at me, telling me I personally offended him for calling his Technician 'incompetent' (a word I did not use, or even imply). Felix disregarded all of my concerns, not allowing me to speak, interrupting me repeatedly, I had to literally ask for permission to finish my sentences - he is incredibly rude and unhelpful. I would LOVE the contact information for the owners of this franchise, as they need to be aware of the type of manager they have here, he will drive business away from this location. Nathaniel at my local BP was able to order in the parts needed to repair my phone and it now has functioning parts, however, as the Brainerd manager is already aware, this is NOT an acceptable repair. This phone is less than 6 months old and is incredibly expensive, I went to this location to have ONE component replaced, and due to the carelessness of the employees here I now have a phone full of aftermarket, off brand parts. I requested a new device replacement from the Manager and he told me no. It is the responsibility of this store to remedy this mistake, I am NOT satisfied with this resolution, it is unacceptable to ruin a customers phone, yell at them on the phone, and stick another location (these are franchise' not a chain) with the bill to fix your employees mistakes. I will continue to push this issue until I have a satisfactory resolution, because Felix' treatment of customers', his employees' carelessness, and lack of customer service is unacceptable. I have spent HOURS trying to get this issue resolved and I still do not have a satisfactory resolution, almost 2 weeks later. I am appaled at the level of service I have received and the way that I have been treated by Felix, the manager at this location. ******AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!***** read more
