The menu is reasonably priced ($15 to $25 for main dishes), and the service is professional and courteous although a little slow at times. The main room can become noisy when all tables are occupied. The menu is not extensive, yet, offers a combination of dishes for everybody (mainly meats but also a few fish and vegetarian options). Good selection of wines and other beverages. Food was excellent, including deserts. I found the portions to be reasonably sized for lunch. The sole meunière that I ordered was fresh and cooked well, preserving its firm texture and flavor. Everybody I was with enjoyed their food, adults and children alike. I recommend Le Carré if you are visiting Cambrai, as the character of its food matches well the "bourgeois" style of the town.
