First of all, the gentleman working the booth was more attentive to the young girls that walked in minutes after I did then my old 40 year old self and my mother. Secondly, we all understand freedom of speech and having your own political beliefs is your right. But, when you make it a part of your advertising constantly, even for those who slightly agree with what you are using to pull people in, it is a turn off.

There was everything from inexpensive, common shells, to beautiful things made from shells, $1k rare shells, books, craft kits... The owner was an extremely nice woman who makes a lot of the shell art in the shop. Her work is simply amazing! I'm sad that I was trying to be polite by not photographing all the gorgeous artwork. While she was ringing up my purchases, she said she encourages "copying" and people photographing everything in the shop. She shared a few tips with me that she's learned along the way and I really appreciated the info for my own artwork. This shop is a MUST to check out when visiting Sanibel Island.
