Summary: Great beds, renovated rooms, great food, reasonably priced, slow wifi…read more Our stay here was a one-night stop over between Sydney and Merimbula. The grounds and room were very relaxing. We stayed in a King Suite (building 1, room 8) with our toddler and it was very reasonably priced for the area, amenities, and quality of the renovations. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room also came with a sofa/pull-out bed for our toddler. We opted to eat at the on-site restaurant for dinner and the food was amazing. The portion size was great and the flavors were fantastic. We have had a good number of questionable meals at hotel restaurants and this was a very welcome reprieve. We'd stop here again just for the food...it was that good! The dinner was a higher priced meal, but the presentation of the dishes, attentiveness of the staff, and overall quality of the food were well worth the higher sticker price. WiFi was a bit slow. It worked on our mobile devises, but not on my laptop. This is not the fault of Lincoln Downs, but should be noted. We could also hear a little road noise from our room, but it didn't keep us awake at night.

Probably the softest comforter and pillows I've ever had. Good water pressure considering the drought. Helpful and friendly. Large closet, mini fridge, desk and couch in your room. The only downside is the traffic outside on the road is getting nosier earlier, but that's not their fault. Will happily continue to work with them.

Beautiful views day and night - steps to great restaurants. Hubs saw a seal! Tons of parrots and pelicans. Our room was super comfy - great towels and AMAZING smelling toiletries. We had everything we needed at hand, plus a very comfy bed. Amazing hospitality as well - we got the best advice at check in on where to eat and where to see local wildlife.
