My daughter received a free scoop card from her teacher for doing well in school. Just went into Baskin Robbins in San Dimas. We told the worker she had a card for good grades. He scoops her the ice cream. My daughter is at the door and the guy says he made a mistake and he scooped a regular instead of a kids scoop. I said I had no $ on me to pay for the upgrade. The worker goes in the back to speak to a lady. Then he comes back and says my daughter can only redeem in La Verne or Claremont. Then my daughter had to hand the ice cream back to the employee. She was crying when we walked out. She already had a bite. Making a little girl cry over $4 is ridiculous. Our family is all about customer service and this was horrible. We will never give our money to a business that treats Shull Sharks like this. read more

My family and I have been coming to this location for over 20 years, but it never occurred to me to leave a review. After the negative experience I just had yesterday, I felt compelled to leave one. My mom and I went in to order a cake for my upcoming birthday. A younger girl started helping us. I wanted a particular design and we were told by a different female worker the smaller size cake we wanted was too small for the full design. Okay, no problem. We talked it over with the girl and we decided we would just have a simple baseball on the cake. I thought we were on our way to settled, but then my mom was checking on the sizing again. The woman that was helping the newer girl started showing us sizes. Out of nowhere this man comes out and starts telling us we have to order a half-sheet cake. I don't know if he's the owner or what his deal is. He doesn't introduce himself and he's in regular clothes. To make the story shorter: we left without ordering a cake from here. The owner has no sense of customer service and just told us the new girl shouldn't have been answering our cake questions. He's the one that frosts the cakes and he was telling us that was that. No move to resolution, no apology for any confusion. We went to La Verne instead. I won't be coming back to this location. read more

There was no sign saying I couldn't use the restroom due to covid 19. Other businesses are letting customers use the bathroom. Covid 19 is airborne and not contact. We came here for the first time and really enjoyed our ice cream and service. The young men working there were very friendly and patient with my young indecisive daughter. I had the sundae with 2 cookies and a scoop of ice cream and it was delicious. They warmed up the cookies and topped it with the ice cream of my choice, whipped cream and a cherry.! *****Beware Baskin Robbins customers***** My family and I tried to visit this location earlier this week and, after checking their business hours on Yelp, we arrived with 15 minutes to spare before they closed. Oops! Yelp and their posted business hours are incorrect. Yes, this location's actual closing time during the week is 9:30. A young helpful male employee informed us, when we walked in, that they close thirty minutes early now during the week. Don't let the illuminated OPEN sign, unlocked front door, and posted hours of operation fool you, they close at 9:30 p.m. I hope this is helpful to those old fashion types that adhere to "hours of operation" and good customer service, even though it's close to closing time. Hopefully the manager can add an asterisk (*) by their business hours. * Hours of operation vary based on the level of laziness of the closing employee. read more

We are so disappointed. Been coming to this Baskin-Robbins for years now and the scoops here are ridiculously small. The scoop we just received was a "Just kidding" scoop. The scoop was formed to make us believe we were getting a nice regular size portion. But when we got it I was like "what the hell happened". When we bit into it, there was nothing but layers of air. The scoop was not a tight scoop. So we were pretty much jipped. Ridiculous and we are so upset. Cost us almost $11 dollars for what seemed like a child's portion. I don't think I'll be returning and this is the only BR in town. I'm going to have to go elsewhere. read more

So myself (vaccinated) and 1 year old daughter tried to walk in while 4 teenagers were in (one with a mask 3 without) and we were told to have a mask on. I won't be spending my money here. It was amber that said yes we needed to wear a mask while helping 3 of 4 non masked customers. Gladly I will spend my money elsewhere from here on out. She told my husband well we have masks here. I said I was ready to order to one of the girls who had glanced at me and she didn't say anything. Kept talking to her co worker, ignoring us. Really nice employees and conveniently located with lots of parking. Of course the ice cream is yummy.

The ice cream is consistently good. The serving size is ok, it's on the smaller side for the price of a scoop. The service people are pleasant and the place has been remodeled. Parking is a bit tougher since new business has opened next door. Overall it's great. I don't know why, but even though I have more check ins than the current Duke, they took away my title.
