The atmosphere is incredibly supportive and respectful and I've received tips and cheers from strangers, which I appreciate the most. I recommend going early in the morning if you can because it can gets very busy. They charge 10 euros for 2.5 hour session +3 euros if you need to rent shoes. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful, and the cafe makes great coffee, snacks and energy bars.

It's relatively small and heavily graffiti-d, so I can't go all the way to 5 stars. But it was a cool new park to see. The kids loved it and had to be dragged away for dinner. Probably best for kids in the 5-10 range; the structure is just to steep and difficult for most kids under 4.

Lohmühleninsel is something that most people don't know about unless they live nearby. It's a tiny…read morelittle island (about 6.5 acres) lining the border between Kreuzberg and Treptow, and also served as part of the border between former East and West Berlin/Germany. Apparently, it was once lined with landmines. This is clearly no longer a safety issue. There are a handful of bridges connecting the island to land, and on the island there is plenty to see, as it extends to the Spree. The most enjoyable section is that with the park and Spielplatz for kids. There are two separate sections of this park - one for older children and one for younger ones. All in all, it's pretty cool. There are also benches that rest along the water's edge and are situated under trees - a perfect, serene place to sit on a summer day.

It's adorable with things to play on and move that you definitely won't find anywhere else. They were able to spend over an hour here and still didn't want to leave. When we were here there was a portable outhouse across the street which was unlocked, but I think that was only because on some construction going on. I don't know if there is a close bathroom otherwise which for kids could end up being a disaster. Other than the restroom situation this place is amazing.

This is a witches themed playground with one of a kind wooden structures unlike anyone else in the world. On Sunday afternoon it is not crowded. The zip line was fun and so was the rope snake swing. I had a nice work out. A real find. If you are traveling with junior, stop by for a summer afternoon play break. You'd take more photos you think you could take. Better than the children's park in Luxembourg park in that it is free, less crowded and filled with one of a kind play structure only available in Berlin.

It is a lovely place to have a walk in this busy area. Compared to some parks that near by, it isn't much happening inside the park, there are couple playgrounds for kids, ping-pong tables and a training area to play football. The rest is mostly just trees, pretty regular. If you just want to enjoy the nature without having many people around, this's acutally a nice place for that.
