It was all so upsetting but I'm not even sure if she asked how I was doing, I only have liability and she told me to reach out to the other person's insurance. Which I have been doing. Finally tonight I called the 800 number for State Farm to really see what I should expect. A half hour later they took all the information, police reports etc and filed a claim. If for no other reason that they don't say it's my fault. She did absolutely nothing! Will be leaving as soon as I can!

What was not disclosed was that I also needed to have a bank account on file for autopay in order to avoid extra fees. A month later, I received an email saying I still had a balance because of this hidden requirement. This was never communicated upfront, and I only found out after being charged unnecessarily. I have never had an agent do this before. Now I have to spend my own time fixing something that should not have happened in the first place. While the agent said she can remove the fee, the lack of transparency and the hassle it has caused me is unacceptable. I had hoped to be a long-term customer, as I was with my American Family agent back in Minnesota, but after this experience I will be switching agents when my policy is up.
