Barrier Pest Control has been amazing. They are quick to respond to online messages as well as texts! When I needed a tech to come out for a serious spider problem, they had someone out in less than 24 hours. Today we had Nate and Levi, they were friendly and answered informative. Thanks Barrier Pest Control for keeping the bugs out of our home! read more

Horrible experience........ When I initially called Barrier I was told that there was no contract for services. It was quarterly and so I signed up because I figured that I would pay the $99 quarterly fee and see how it goes. They right away came out and the lady on the phone had great customer service. However about a week later I noticed that there were still beetles in my home and wasps outside. I was told that I may see a bit of increase in bugs after the first treatment so I didn't really worry about it. I called them back to do a second treatment and I the guy who came sprayed and took down most of the webs. A week later I noticed the same amount of bugs. So I had them come out again. This time the guy who came sprayed really fast, didn't take any webs down and told me that sometimes there's nothing they can do to take care of the pest problem. He was very nice tho so I just left it at that. I still have not seen a decrease in bugs and I have had pest control service in the past where I would just have my guy come out once a year and not have any problems in between so I know it's possible to get rid of pests. I got a text today saying that my invoice was ready (mind you my bill is not due till September) and so I let them know that I wanted to cancel service because I still have the same amount of bugs. They hit me back saying that there is $150 fee for breaking their contract for 5 more services. So I reminded them that I was told that there was no contract. However, they did have a verbal and signed contractless contract on me so I paid them the $150 and when I called they tried to charge me $99 for about her quarterly (which isn't due till Sept) and $150. I let the gal know that that was incorrect and she charged me the $150. However in between all the back and fourths I had requested to speak to the owner, he wouldn't even take the time to hear me out and said that there was no reason to contact me because he heard my verbal and that was that. If a customer is continuing to have a problem I feel that it's the owners responsibility to reach out to at least try to make things right. This guy wouldn't even give me the time of day. Very unprofessional. I would not recommend this company unless you want to be hostage in a "contractless" contract and continue to have bugs. read more

Met with the owner as he and another guy were out doing cold calls to doors since they were in the area, I'm new to the neighborhood so I was in the hunt for a pest service so it was convenient that they came by. Friendly guys, gave me the standard rundown on the service and they walked around the property to make sure they knew what was there. They also asked me if i had any known pest issues, which i do, wasps, so they made their notes for the technician to address that and assured me they'd get that under control. I signed up and the next day, right on the scheduled time, Nate showed up and serviced the home, he also called 15 minutes prior to arrival to let me know he was coming and make sure it was a good time for me still. When he arrived, he was very friendly and explained what he would be doing and what subsequent services would consist of. He asked me if I had any questions and I did. Being new to the area I asked about spiders or bugs I should keep an eye for. I have young kids and wanted to be aware of any dangerous pests to make sure they were avoided if seen. Nate was very helpful, explaining to me what kid of pests were in the area and which to be wary of. He did the service on my home and before he left, he even pulled up images of the spiders of concern so I knew what they looked like. Very helpful. So far, the initial contact and my first service have been very pleasant. All seems to be right and as long as future services continue this way, I can't say I'd be u happy. So far, so good. Thanks Nate. read more
