Saw Dr. Colman in Hopewell, better results. Try and get a reasonable appointment with these people! Limited hours, limited days - no Saturdays. Kept trying to advise us to take appointments in Poughkeepsie, even further away. Wake up, people - this is the 21st Century. Children go to school and Adults work. Although the business is under the umbrella name of Orthopedic Associates of Dutchess County, each area is its own entity, hence when checking in you fill out the same forms each time, and they use a computer system! A prescription needed a prior approval after surgery on 6/6 and I am still trying to get it even though I have called and emailed numerous times. I was told on 6/6 that the request was put in, however on 6/7 I spoke with the insurance company and the request was not put in. When I spoke to the nurse about it I was told not to worry, it is not that important of a medication. Then why prescribe it? At that point I reminded the nurse that we were told it was to help the pain and to help him not to use the narcotics so long. The answer was yes, that is true. Seems important to me.
