I'm giving this place a solid 4 star review when it could easily be a 5 star venue. Taking 1 star away is strictly a logistics reason.
I've been here a few times to see Theatre 502 productions. It's a small theatre on Whiskey Row. I normally get there earlier to sit in the front row, but I honestly don't think there's a bad seat in the house. It's a great space and Theatre 502 always finds new and creative ways to use the space.
I've only been here for Theatre 502 shows, but I can't imagine that other acts don't use the space. You should definitely see something here if given the chance.
My only complaint? A local pizza place is downstairs. On the weekends, you can hear live music coming from downstairs. Be aware of that before going here. I can usually tune it out, but there have been a few times where it was a nuisance.
To offer incentive, I'm always told that the pizza place offers drink discounts to the theatre patrons. I've never took them up on the offer but it is a nice addition(if needed). read more
