Service with a smile! I am visiting the area and sat on my glasses accidentally causing one lens to fall out. The string that held it on had snapped. In less than 10 minutes, my glasses were repaired at no charge and I was sent on my merry way. Thank you folks! read more

Where do I begin..... I have been a patient of Dr. Adams since he first came to Parker year after year he has helped me get through my eyesight issues for myself and my family never any regrets or complaints. Well I shouldn't say never a few years back the quality of the glassware started getting bad and it seemed that no matter what the glasses had to be replaced every year. Conveniently it happens right after the warranty expires on the glasses I know that's not his fault he writes the prescription and is always spot on its not his fault his vendors are cheap. So I have learned to budget every year for a new set even though its upsetting there is nothing to be done. That's how it was today I was prepared to fork out for a new pair had my appointment set up 3 weeks prior and showed up a few minutes early. I walked up to the door and there is a sign that read "Sorry Doctor is out sick" and wont be in today all appointments must be rescheduled. I understand the part that the doctor is out sick. He cant control that I'm sure it affects him financially not going into work that's not my gripe. My issue is why was I not informed? Why did I not get the call that said sorry our doctor is out and will not be in today? why did I not get a heads up? Just like they work off appointments So do I and this morning I doubled up my appointments and made sure I had my afternoon free so I could attend my doctors appointment! Today you cost me money I could've done a few less appointments this morning instead of trying to get done so I could make sure that I made my commitment to my doctor and showed up on time! Yes I blame the staff I blame the person in charge of calling the customers! She did say they tried to call me and the number was no good. I've had the same number for 20 years so how is that possible? I call BS! Now I have 2 options go see a new doctor and guess what.... there are no other Optometrist in Parker! So I have to drive to Havasu and try my luck with them or hope that the Girls here get there act together and I kinda doubt that's gonna happen. New Owners I am guessing they brought their own staff and this new team is not one that has made a fan out of me. I will make a new appointment and Talk to Dr. Adams maybe he is not aware of the way his office is ran when he is not around if he is then I guess I will have to find a new doctor one that will care for me as much as i tried to care to be on time an punctual to my appointments! I went for my yearly diabetes eye exam. puff in each eye and simple eye chart read. my appointment was at 8.20am and I was home at 8.47 am. also they wanted 29.dollars above my insurance coverage to mail the results to my doctor just down the street. I said that I will take the results to my doctor and they said that they won't even give me the results of the puff in each eye unless I paid the 29 dollars. I left their not knowing anything. Complete waste of time and now I have to make another appointment to get x-rays of the back of my eyes. Not even sure what they do is even legal. I am a senior and have been to many drs. and this is my first complaint. this encounter was so bad that I just had to say something. read more

Getting an appointment was easy enough. The day of the appointment there was a sense of rushed inefficiency. I was immediately Up-sold for a photographic service that the lady Doctor never even looked at. My examination with their evaluating equipment took less than a minute as it was the most rushed and over simplified I have ever experienced and that was both eyes. Having had several eye exams I feel there is no way it was accurate. I believe the most efficient part of my experience was the payment part of my ordeal. They sure have that down to a science. No way I would recomend or be back again. read more

I've put off getting new contacts for months and now find myself wearing the same pair for the past 2 months. Yeah I know that isn't recommended and trust me my eyeballs can tell. It feels as if the contacts have grown a layer of barnacles like those found on a Humpback whale. So yesterday I walked into Parker Vision Care and upon entering I discovered that every human soul in the western United States was inside. I couldn't believe how busy it was! So I did what any time constrained person would do...I left. I was disappointed, but despite my blurred vision I just couldn't wait. It was at this point that I discovered customer service at its greatest. I contacted one of their employees, Tara on Facebook and explained to her my dilemma. She informed me that she would get back to me in the morning regarding my contacts. Fast forward to just moments ago when I received a message from Tara informing me that my contact Rx is expired and I will need another examination, but in the meantime she's ordered me trial lenses. I will be picking up my trial lenses tomorrow and setting up an examination appointment. My vision will be blurred no longer, the barnacles shall be removed from my eyes, and all will be right with the world once more. Thanks Tara and thanks Parker Vision Care!! read more

I was visiting the colorado river near Parker, AZ for a long holiday weekend when I realized that I had forgotten to pack my contacts! I called and Parker Vision Care was willing to give me a couple trial packs of contacts for free if I could show them a copy of my prescription (which luckily my regular eye doctor could email to me). The team was friendly, very helpful and saved the weekend! While I'm not a regular patient (and this is the only reason I'm giving them 4/5 stars), I appreciate that they treated me like one. read more

WARNING: READ THIS BEFORE YOU GO HERE. I spent almost $400 on an eye exam and new lenses for my current Vera Bradley frames that are worth over $300. They BROKE the frames I brought in and offered me 20% off the purchase of new frames from them (which they still make a substantial profit from). So they broke my barely used frames, offered me no replacement or compensation for breaking them, and then wanted to give me a small discount on buying new frames from them. I was not interested, so I asked for a refund on the lenses I purchased. The response I got was, we can refund you for ONE of the lenses you purchased because they already etched the other lense and Parker Vision would not get a refund from the lab for the one that was already etched. So on top of breaking my frames, they would not refund me for both the lenses I purchased that I cannot use. Dr. Adams, the owner, was completely rude, repeating over and over that I signed a paper saying they are not responsible. He obviously puts profits ahead of his patients and I am out almost $400 AND a pair of glasses costing over $300 with absolutely nothing to show for it except an eye exam. I was upset about the broken frames, but the least they could have done was refund me the $200+ for the lenses I can't even use. I didn't even get an apology for them breaking my frames. I have never been treated this way before by a doctor and I would recommend you consider the huge risk before spending any money at Parker Vision. read more
