They never emailed me my disposition and failed to warn me about my license being suspended and I had to go file a motion myself to get the judge to grant an extension, which could not be done in time, causing me to lose my driving privilege. Upon entering their office and speaking with the secretary, the attorney came out rude and disrespectful making excuses for why they didn't do their job. Then he tried to order me to sit in a chair and when I told him no thank you he ordered me to leave the premises and not come back. I will now stand outside their office with a picket sign telling everyone in the city that they should not use them because they are rude and that it's a complete and utter waste of money. The charge they got reduced I could have walked into the courthouse myself and received the exact same disposition without even having to enter the courtroom. Useless Attorney, though the office lady was polite, so I will concede that fact. ***** Updated: Mr Rowland contacted me personally and profusely apologized for the miscommunication and the way I was treated at his other office. He took care of everything and made it right. I would definitely recommend him as an attorney as he called me right away upon hearing about the problem. Thank you Mr. Rowland, and may God bless you and your family.

He simply had too many cases to handle while handling mine. Mr. Rowland and I spoke right before I appeared in front of the judge. He made a few errors while representing me in front of the judge. The ADA was fumbling about and Mr. Rowland helped her with her case (which was my case that he was supposed to be representing ME, NOT helping the ADA convict me. It was a super uncomfortable experience all the way around. I ended up getting DOUBLE the jail time than we had expected and I believe these errors contributed Heavily towards that. Well, he did warn me this might happen. That's why I have him right? After sentencing today, I feel I wasted all that money and could've potentially Had a better sentence if I represented myself. I am angry. I am angry that I hired a lawyer who thought it was a good idea to help the prosecutor convict me. I hate writing bad reviews, I really do. However; this is unacceptable. This is an honest and fair review after using their law firm I certainly could never recommend them.

The case, no fault of Mrs Baker, dragged out for almost a year and a half, and thanks to her and her staff i was able to get full custody. I got the ticket July 2 & the court date was scheduled for September 6, and it was mandatory appearance (anything in NC over 80 is mandatory court). The NCHP officer wouldn't budge on the 15mph over the speed limit either... but luckily, I came across Welborn Law Firm when googling traffic citation attorneys in Davie County... he was at the top of the search, and I see why! We scheduled a pre-call to determine the next steps, potential costs, etc. Jon was both very personable & knowledgeable, and he advised he'd likely be able to get it reduced to Improper Equipment, but no guarantees. Didn't require any in-person meeting; he just sent me the invoice via their web portal & I paid online to confirm his representation for my traffic citation. He successfully got my ticket reduced to Improper Equipment in court last Friday, and I now don't incur any points on my license because Jon provided such fine legal representation!! YAY! Welborn's online portal was awesome... easy to access documents, pay the attorney fee, and it even updated me a week ahead of the court date to remind me that they'll provide representation in my absence. Perfect! I'm so glad I found Jon's firm, Welborn Law Firm, for my traffic citation :) highly recommended!!
