Great insurance options. Even greater people. When they say they're not an 800 number, they really mean it!

Avoid at all costs!!! These guys are the WORST insurance agents I have ever encountered…read more I came to Saratoga Insurance when my previous insurance agent, Doug Seitz, sold his business. I had an auto insurance policy, and the rest of my family members used Doug for all of our insurance needs. Doug was a great insurance agent and it's unfortunate that Saratoga has run his business away. Their representatives do not respond to phone calls, emails, smoke signals, or carrier pigeons. How anyone gets in touch with them is beyond me. After a particular awful experience with Linda (who nearly let my auto insurance lapse from her lack of communication), I reached out to Ryan, who is listed as the VP on the website. He assured me that he would not only work to earn my business back, since I had purchased insurance elsewhere before my current policy expired, but would also get me a quote by the end of that particular day for auto insurance. Guess what? Never heard from him. My parents had a similar experience with their homeowner's insurance, and after 30 years with Doug, and then Saratoga, had to find a new insurance broker, who wrote them the SAME policy with the SAME insurance company, because Ryan and his crew stopped responding to emails and phone calls. The whole point of using an insurance broker, in my opinion, is to have someone else who will do some of the legwork for you-- find lower rates, answer questions about policies, etc. These guys do NONE of that, and they can't even respond to emails or phone calls. I can't imagine they'll be in business much longer, and rightfully so.

We switched to this company after a horrible experience with our local Farmers agent who had…read morewritten us a horrible home policy that backfired. Hunter and Ryan have always answered calls and emails in a timely and professional way. They have arranged many policies for us and everything has been seamless. We just had to claim a windshield replacement and it was taken care of in 2 days. We are so grateful for the Saratoga team! Highly recommend!!

Dishonest and unethical. I bumped a neighbor's car while parking and when I reported it, he asked…read moreif there were any 'witnesses.' I was confused - what? He said, 'I'm not telling you to lie, per se, but if no one saw you, you didn't actually hit it, right?' My neighbor was actually there at the time, so yes, there was a 'witness.' I wouldn't have lied anyway, because I'm not a sociopath. Further, - I was in an accident in November 2020, reported it immediately. State Farm informed me a few days later that the car was totaled and in February 2021, I bought a new (preowned) car, same exact make & model but a year newer. This office was notified. More than once. Now the MVA won't renew my tags because of an 'insurance lapse' from February 2021on. State Farm is insisting I never notified them about the new car purchase and they have 'no record it of it.' No agent notes about this car exist, so that's their 'proof' that they were never informed. Really? They KNEW car #1 was a total loss and had it towed to a junkyard in Ohio, but they continued to accept insurance payments from me for another 16 months. For what?! Did they think I was sending them money because I just like wasting it? PLEASE. So now I owe the MVA a ton of $ to release the 'insurance lapse' flag so I can renew my tags. So they are liars AND thieves. Idiotically, I had homeowners insurance through this office too. The first (and only) time I attempted to submit a claim, Mr Culver informed me that the deductible was $3600, which, he said was 1% of the value of my house ($360,000?! I owned a 116-year old duplex in Hagerstown that I later sold for $175K ) Nothing but tricks and lies, perhaps because he thinks a single mom is too stupid to do math or know the value of her own home. So, please, for the good of your mental health and bank account, AVOID THIS CROOKED BUSINESS. I wish I had.

Bruce and his team are wonderful to deal with. I enjoyed the easy feel and they made me feel like…read morethere number one customer.
