Even though as an adult I usually stay in Myrtle Beach , I still make a trip to Cherry Grove to walk the pier , walk the beach , and of course stop in at Boulineau's IGA. I make a point to come the day they do Chicken Bog in the Cafe , which I think is Friday. It is so good and so is the Fried Chicken. The Cafe has such a great selection , great price , clean dining areas , great service , and is very popular with tourists and locals. I stayed at the Golden Mile / Cabana Beach the whole month of February and came here twice. The grocery store has pretty much everything you need for vacation. Food , bathroom items , cleaners , fresh produce , fresh meats , grilling supplies , fishing supplies , beach items , you name it ! Upstairs they have a shop with all kinds of beach items like shirts , decorations , swimwear , hats , wind chimes , games , coffee cups , and on and on. The prices are fair for North Myrtle Beach / Myrtle Beach. Of course you have to go up to the observation area that looks like a lighthouse and look at the ocean and the surrounding area , it's free. So many memories for me here in Cherry Grove. One of my favorite places in the world and I lived in Germany for 4 years in the Army and traveled Europe in the 80's. It will always be in my heart.

This store is a nice touch! However, be aware of the lady working at the jewelry section. She isn't very nice and takes away from the welcoming feel. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and is much better now. I won't reflect this in my rating of the store, because every business has a bad hire that slips through occasionally. Other than that, well done Callahan's! I will be back.

Visited the store #8 on Friday Aug 14, 2026 around 9pmto buy a few things for my son's birthday…read morepresents. Spent about 20 minutes looking and go a few items to buy, went to the front and no one was at the register. Asks the young lady if she could ring us up and she pointed to the guy that was on a ladder hanging up signs and stocking. She said to ring bell and he will ring us up. So I rang the bell and I guess he was in a bad mood because I rang it more that once- he ignored us- finally I said to him Can you ring us up? He comes over finally and starts to ring and makes a smart comment about us playing with the bell- I'm 55 yrs old and on vacation sorry we were in a good mood- after I said that to him he leaves all my stuff on the counter and his words to me was " Get the Fuck out of my store" exact words- refuses to ring me up and walks off- there was other people in line which one of them was my 25 yr old son- he asks if he could come ring him up- The guy walks over to my son and grabs both of his arms that had merchandise in it and squeezed his arms which is Assault by the way- and tell him to "get the F out of the store as well. After all of this I lost it...we decide to just leave the store - there was about 5 other customers in there as well that placed all their items down and left as well due to this works actions and words towards us- We leave and go to visit a different store which is Store # T12 and everyone there was amazing- I called corporate today to explain what happened and spoke with Amanda- she was more worried that the salesperson at store T12 let us know that it happens alot at the Cherry Grove location instead of how she turned it around and told us multiple times she was sorry that happened- this will be the last time Tsunami ever get a dime of my money. Corporate office will not do anything about this issue so don't waste your time calling.
