TLDR: Avoid this place like the plague. Tons of other groomers in town to choose from…read more This is the place to go if: 1. You want an overbooked groomer who will take 5 hours and your dog will be in a kennel for 3.5-4 hours of that time. Walked in to get her and it looked like she had been drugged. She is a mini golden doodle puppy and loves nothing more in the world than to sit on my lap and put her head out the window. She collapsed in my lap in the car ride home and wouldn't even sit up when I rolled the window down. 2. You want someone to do the exact opposite of what you ask for. Specifically said "De-mat her and trim what's necessary. PLEASE do not buzz her down like a poodle." Fortunately, she's cute & it will grow out, but definitely looks real poodle-y now. 3. You want to encounter quite possibly the most unfriendly face you've ever seen. Other than a horrendous old tax/title lady I had to work with years ago, the owner's facial expressions from the second I walked in were extremely off-putting, like she's disgusted with you for existing. I had my sister drop my pup off for me and she even said the same thing. Had I been the one to drop her off I would've taken one look at this woman's face and just left. She should NEVER work in a customer facing role, like ever. Her two assistants are her saving grace. I will personally recommend to every person I know with an animal to never go to this groomer. I could've watched a few YouTube videos and done a better job.

My 4 Ib teacup poodle was injured during a grooming appointment at Georgia's Pet Salon & Boutique…read moreon Saturday, January 31st while I was in my hometown, Texarkana, for a short amount of time from Houston. I was told at pickup that it was a small, superficial nick that did not require stitches or glue. He also had on and was gifted the sweater that you see in the message screenshots stating, "it was too cold for him outside" but after I realized that was just a tactic to cover up his wounds. Unfortunately, after bringing him home and discovering the wound(s) and then following the exact aftercare instructions (bandaging and antibacterial ointment) provided by the groomer/ owner, Christine, the wounds) worsened and eventually opened significantly. When I contacted the groomer with photos and concerns, the response(s) were focused on blaming me and how the wound was managed rather than acknowledging that the injury occurred during the appointment. Which was extremely distasteful and disappointing. While I completely understand that grooming older or anxious dogs can be challenging, how a "business" responds after a very unfortunate situation like this happens speaks volumes. Accountability and professionalism matter. I was disappointed by the extreme lack of accountability and empathy in this situation. I cannot recommend this groomer based on how this situation was handled. If you choose to book here, I recommend closely inspecting your pet and documenting everything before and after your appointment; and to ask detailed questions if any injury occurs during grooming. 3 weeks later plus a veterinarian bill and he is still bandaged with wounds trying to heal and wearing a very uncomfortable cone with also the possibility of needing surgery if he is unable to heal on his right arm. By the way, she only takes cash and I see why. Please view my Tik-Tok for full story with images and videos: https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZP8xPy14y/
