Our boys were spoiled rotten! The staff visited 3x a day which allowed potty time, outdoor playtime and meal times. It even allowed fetch time for our "ball crazy boy" and cuddle time for our snuggler! I think the thing we loved most about this company was the communication. We were sent an email update after every visit, letting us know how our boys were doing, a checklist of what had happened during the visit and, my "favorite", pictures of my babies playing! We even received text communications letting us know when one of the visits was going to be just a few minutes later than normal, due to road closures. We haven't even been home for 24hrs and we have already booked this team to care for our boys again soon. They rocked! I also have to mention that they collected the mail, swept and vacuumed, and even left the fur babies a special doggie treat; this was top notch and very much appreciated! I traveled internationally for two weeks and needed a pet sitter to care for my cat. I decided on Hailee because the cost was reasonable. Throughout the duration of my vacation I was routinely told that my cat could not be found. It seemed like little to no effort was made to find or play with my cat, luckily my family was able to visit and play with my cat using minimal effort. She filled up food but did not fill up the water in the two weeks leading me to believe that she was unreliable, however she did show up everyday and was able to bring in packages. I will not be using her services again in the future, I do not feel that I can trust her with my pet.

As a result of the distance, we're currently only able to utilize Happy Tails for boarding when we travel. However, the level of care, the service offerings, and the overall business is so incredibly wonderful in those times that it makes us wish it was the only dog daycare we gave our business to because Happy Tails is just that vastly superior to all of the other daycares and boarding facilities in St. Louis. Admittedly, what sparked me finally writing this review after 15 years of being a customer was the stark contrast I/our dogs recently experienced with another locally owned, multi-location business near our home in Kirkwood. It wasn't an overly bad experience we had with a competitor daycare, but it did serve as a great reminder to recognize companies when they do an exceptional job.
