A tub of mango, pineapple, or watermelon was only two dollars each! They also had a lot of baked goods that looked yummy and a small food court. I also tried the flan, which was very delicious and not too sweet (which is how I like it). Overall, great grocery store! I would definitely recommend checking it out if you are in the area.

It's a regular supermarket, but I suspect that the locals don't shop here at all. The prices are pretty high, and much of the food isn't quite practical. This is a two story grocery store- not counting the parking. Be sure that you don't miss the top floor, where all the liquor and food hall is. Nom! Parking is on the bottom floor. They sell you validation at the cash register. Beware- the grocery bagger is looking for tips. My favorite part of the supermarket is all the cheap Mexican gifts they sell, with clearly marked prices. Actually, many of them are cheaper than the flea market down the way, because you don't have to haggle and deal with the cat calls from the clerks. Beware of the touts selling excursions and whatnot at the entrance. Just because they're in a supermarket doesn't mean they can't take advantage of gringos. This supermarket gets awfully busy in the afternoon. The aisles are narrow. It's best to come at an off time.

We loved it so much, we ended up here twice in the same week. The service is outstanding here and you can tell they pride themselves on customer service. Before the meal, they do drop off bread with dipping sauces, garlic, and butter. The perfect appetizer. One reason I love this place is the salads. They are big enough for split for 2 and I don't think you can go wrong with any of the options. Personally, the cesar salad is my favorite. What I love about this salad, is they make the dressing right in front of you. Definitely a cool and unique experience. The first time, I ordered the tuna steak. It comes with a soy sauce and a garlic butter. These two sauces on the tuna makes for an incredible meal. I cannot say enough good things about this entree! The second night we went my boyfriend and I split the Cesar salad and the skirt steak. We also added on a side of mashed potatoes and grilled veggies. The whole meal was delicious. I couldn't pick a favorite part because everything tasted so good. Splitting this was the perfect meal for two people and we even had a bit left over to snack on the next day. I always have a wonderful experience with even better food when I come here. If you happen to be in the area this is a must stop.

It was absolutely breathtaking. Our server was knowledgeable regarding all dishes; he brought actual cuts of meat and seafood to the table to show us before we ordered so we would know what we were getting. I had a tamarinda margarita which was delicious. My husband and I shared some crispy truffle fries. For my entree, I had the whitefish, which was cooked perfectly and served on a bed of mashed potatoes. I wasn't able to finish everything because the portions were generous. It was a lovely evening.

Good selection of fruits and vegetables - we love the guavas, mangos, and carrots the most! They taste so fresh and more flavorful than what we get in the US. Decent selection of meat, dairy, snacks, cereal, etc too! They have a bakery (with fresh tortillas), pharmacy, a touristy area (bathing suits, shirts, souvenirs, etc), and an area that has prepped food items. They also have a decent alcohol/beer area. Prices are way better than what they charge at the hotel (though you're likely paying for convenience there). Highly recommend this treat to pick up items! This is on the top floor of a shopping mall, though the mall itself has few store these days.

It's located in a shopping mall that seems to be having some occupancy issues, but has an absolutely beautiful atrium, with a decorated dome, fountains- It's amazing! The shopping is a bit rough- it's not exactly the cheapest place to shop in Mexico. It's not the most expensive- that honor seems to belong to the other grocery up the road a mile or two and the Cancun Pointe. The aisles are a bit jammed together, and they certainly cater to the gringo tourista. They have new swimsuits, hats, sunglasses, plenty of cerveza, tequila, mixers, and food. A bakery section offers pan dulces and a variety of things to make sandwiches with. There's a bunch of bottled water, and everything you need to feel at home. I kinda don't care for how they seem to organize this place- whatever they're doing, I haven't figured it out yet. The prices were okay, the selection okay. Okay!

The food is average at best and by far the worst on the property, but people don't mind. The prices are reasonable and it's comparing apples to oranges when looking at the nicer restaurants. It's hard to complain when you're being delivered food in your lounger by the pool. Throughout my stay, I tried a variety of options with the turkey club being my favorite. The fries always showed up a tad soggy in each dish. The quesadilla and nachos were both very basic. The veggies were a refreshing snack to enjoy by the pool. The cocktails were all delicious as well. Overall, you don't have many lunch options on property so this is what everyone is doing.

The food still comes from the Cafe, but there are servers who will bring your food to you in case you are too lazy to get up. That was us. The wife had the shrimp cocktail and really liked it. The shrimp was fresh and the cocktail sauce had a nice kick. I had the JW burger because I was in the mood for something plain. I was not expecting much because, honestly, how many times has anyone gotten good poolside food? But I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat and it was quite sizable, probably half a pound. The bacon was good quality and cooked to crisp. The lettuce and tomato were good, the cheddar was good, everything about that burger was good. I had the Cajun chips and they were good. I think the burger was about $15-16 USD but it was worth it. I would definitely eat here again and maybe next time I will get up from my poolside seat and walk a few feet to sit at the Cafe (which overlooks the pools).
