Bardstown is a fun spot in the Bourbon Trail. More stores will be open of you are there during the day, so plan accordingly.

Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont is an absolute highlight of the bourbon trail and easily one of the best overall experiences. Our group of six split up to try two different tours, with three doing the Beam Made Bourbon Distillery Tour and the other three opting for the more intimate Small Batch Craft Tour at the FBN Distillery. Both groups came away saying their experience was fantastic, each offering something unique with knowledgeable guides who really brought the Beam story to life. The property itself is beautiful and feels like a true destination. Since Suntory acquired the brand in 2014 and invested heavily into the grounds, it shows in every detail. Everything is well maintained, thoughtfully designed, and set up to give visitors a full experience rather than just a quick tour. I personally did the Small Batch Craft Tour and it was outstanding. Our guide Sam made the entire experience memorable with a great balance of storytelling, bourbon knowledge, and personality. The way she presented the Beam history kept everyone engaged, and the bourbon selections she chose for our tastings were spot on. One of the best ways to wrap up your visit is by heading to the on site restaurant, The Kitchen Table. The food and cocktails were excellent, and the setting overlooking the property made it the perfect place to relax after the tour. Overall, Jim Beam Distillery delivers a complete and memorable bourbon experience. Between the variety of tours, beautiful campus, and great food and drink options, this is a must visit stop in Clermont.

No games about what is available and what they release. If they have it, it's on the shelf. Beam lineage, old grandad16, knob creek 21, little book infinite... just need the funds to buy the expensive stuff. Tour we chose was called "First Family" We didn't need a distillery tour, just wanted to sample. Good lineup of samples and our guide was ok. Really nice space for tasting. It was nice learning about one of the first families of Bourbon. Tried a lot of bourbons I would never want a 750ml bottle of, but really added to my bourbon palate and experience.
