Usefully, there is a bank machine both inside and out so if you don't want to withdraw money in the full view of everyone outside, you can go inside for the relative privacy there.

There are hardly ever any people waiting to be served, and there are always advisors available to speak to if you need advice. There are 2 cash machines, one inside and one outside.

The wait to see an advisor is often quite a bit longer, not because there are lots of people waiting but because there dont seem to be many staff! There are a couple of cash points and a deposit box for paying in which saves time. Quite a nice branch, but is up some steps so not easily accessible with a wheelchair or pram.

There is a cash machine inside, and also one outside which is bizarrely raised and has a step to get up to it. The counter usually only has a few people waiting to be served, and the staff seem quite quick and efficient. I just wish it was still possible to phone your own branch rather than a national call centre!

Given the choice, this is the branch I visit - it's quieter and you rarely have to queue. The staff are friendly and efficient and you can do all of your everyday banking here. There's even a cash point inside, so you don't have to visit the counter if all you want is cash. If you need an appointment with one of the special advisors - business banking, mortgages, opening new accounts etc,. - then you have to go to the main branch, but if you're in and around Abingdon and just want to pop in quickly then this one is ideal.

The branch itself is in a lovely old building and the interior seems very spacious and well set-out. There arent usually queues to be served at the counter, and you can also usually be seen by an advisor quite quickly too if you need advice etc. There is a cash machine inside and another one on the side wall of the building outside.

This branch of Barclays is situated in the Templars Square shopping centre, Cowley. It is at the…read morecar-park end of the centre. It is actually quite a small branch, but the counter always seems well-staffed and there is rarely much of a queue. I have never needed to see a financial advisor there and I am not sure how you would go about it as there never seems to be anyone around except for the counter staff. There is also a bureau de change in this branch, a cash machine and a paying-in deposit box.
