When you walk through the door you'll find it's a tiny venue. The length of the room by the back wall is taken up by the food station. The system works by checking the menu for what you want then lining up to order, or just join the queue and have a look at what ingredients are on offer and picking out the best looking food. You then pay at the end of the line and find seating. A friend and I attended the venue on their opening night where we were given a free meal. I asked the staff what the best tasting meat was for a burrito and they gave me an ambiguous answer so I just chose the grilled chicken burrito. I wasn't optimistic as the chicken didn't look that appetising. After adding the salad, guacamole and salsa I sat down to eat on a high stall, by the window. We bumped into this place as we were walking around and when we did so, I quickly grabbed my phone to check what fellow Yelpers had to say and so glad we went in here. We went directly for the mains since we were not too hungry to accommodate starters and mains. The Tagine they served is the best I have had. The couscous was soft and fluffy. I am not a big fan of couscous but I polished everything they served. When we spoke to the lady who was taking care of us, she said she owns the place and cooks in her kitchen. The food did not feel heavy and stuffed with too much spice, it was light and so full of flavours that if someone would say this is homemade, I would totally believe it. They served some homemade bread with harissa and olives. It was an hour of quiet, peaceful lunch. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to eat awesome Moroccan food. Please stay away from all the crappy restaurants who claim they serve Moroccan food in Regents street. This place will tell you they are high street nonsense.
