Dr. Matai is very professional and took his time to understand the pain I was having. He also explained the mechanics of my foot thoroughly to make sure I understood why I was having pain, which a lot of Doctors don't! The office is a one stop shop which makes it so convenient. The doctor's office, MRI, physical therapy, and surgical center is all located in the same building which makes it so much easier scheduling appointments, especially scheduling more than one appointment in a day. The first time I worked with SCA was after a car accident. A different orthopedist wrote off I was healed after six weeks of physical therapy although I was still suffering pain in my left shoulder. I worked with SCA and Dr. Chappuis diagnosed me with two herniated disks in my neck. After his care, I couldn't believe I wasn't in pain anymore. I had been living with pain in my neck and shoulder for a year and had accepted it as a part of life. I had an attorney who really dropped the ball on the case and Dr. Chappuis referred me to another attorneys who was really helpful with my settlement. The team at SCA is wonderful. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, and great at what they do. I really enjoyed working with everyone and getting to know the team while I was in treatment. When I had returned for treatment for another procedure the team remembered me and asked how I was doing since that time which shows you they really pay attention to their patients. A year later I had a labrum tear and was treated again by Dr. C. I appreciated he took the path of least resistance and we were able to avoid surgery. Not only was he helpful through my healing but he was helpful in explaining and directing how I should go about my fitness routines in the future and what types of workouts I need to avoid for any further damage. I'm currently undergoing treatment for a herniated disk in my back. Before treatment, I could hardly walk and was in an enormous amount of pain. Currently working with SCA, I'm walking again and regained most of my mobility and will have regained full mobility after my third treatment. I cannot say enough good things about SCA and working with Dr. C. He really listens to you as opposed to other doctors who will ask you a checklist of questions to deduce their opinion of what is wrong with you. He takes his time to explain and break down what is the issue and where the problem stems from. You never feel rushed during your appointment and it's important to him he addresses all of your concerns. While I had some anxiety at the thought of possibly having to undergo surgery, Dr. C was calm, addressed my fears and concerns until I felt confident and at ease with my healing process and options. SCA has been so wonderful to me on multiple occasions, I couldn't imagine being treated anywhere else. At this point, I wouldn't want to be treated anywhere else. I would strongly recommend working with SCA. They're second to none and you won't regret it.

All these one star reviews had me worried, but not as worried as I was about getting my husband some help ASAP. When we got in they told us they could see him right away, but if it wasn't an emergency he'd be sent outside to wait for a while. It didn't take long for them to realize it was an emergency. And from that moment on he was treated with the best care. The nurses were all really sweet and had great bedside manner, distracting my husband while giving him an injection, and one even brought us a snack (we had planned to eat breakfast at the airport). The front desk guy, who was struggling with our health care information, was nice as he could be about it. And the doctor was better than most primary care physicians I've had -- very patient, forthcoming with all information, and seemed genuinely concerned for his wellbeing. We left with a less-dying husband, feeling perfectly cared for, and with TWO doctors notes that will help us get a refund on our missed flights. Thanks, team!
