The place is cool - retro decor with a red pool table, Louis XV styled chairs and colourful dressing tables. They serve you beer or coffee while you're getting your hair cut and the other customers (a lot of them !) are young and leaning towards hipsters. I was taken care of by Fernando (Nando) and he was extremely careful, patient and detailed - he explained every phase and made sure I was comfortable with the way he was cutting and this level of attention is something that I hadn't seen in other saloons. We only pay 40 riels when we go to São Paulo, and we go to the one near our hotel. At first, I thought hmm....maybe they did take advantage of me since I didn't speak Portuguese.
