I was not just struck by the amazing customer service during my appointment but before my appointment when Fredrick messaged me to ask about what needed to be done. On the day of the appointment, I arrived to find a girl profusely thanking Fredrick for saving her hair - I knew I had come to the right place. Upon seeing me, Fredrick immediately understood the brief. As a brown woman, I am always hesitant to go to hairdressers as I feel like they do not understand how to work with the texture of my hair or understand what matches my skin tone. But Fredrick got it, he set about working his magic by mixing the perfect combination to match my skin tone. He was careful to only apply the best products that suited my hair type. When he washed the dye out of my hair I was FLOORED even though I had opted for single processing, it somehow looked like I had gotten balayage done on my hair. This affirmed my faith that this guy is a true hair magician! I want to add not only is he great with hair he's also a lovely person. Time flew by whilst I was getting my hair done in conversation with him. His salon is very quaint and it really feels like you are getting the most personalized luxury experience. It's very flattering and I get a lot of compliments on it. Kathy won't let me leave without a blowout and my hair always looks great when I leave the salon, but when I do it myself I can just put a little product on it and let it dry naturally, and I still like the way it looks. Kathy also does color, highlighting, and glossing, and she cuts men's hair as well. The same is true of the other stylist at Hair FX, Debbie (who also gives great haircuts). Both have lots of happy regular clients who wouldn't have their hair done anywhere else.
