The barber thing is like a sacred institution. You are letting someone take a strait razor to your neck. In the past, I had a shave with the straight razor where the Vietnamese chick violates you, leaves you bleeding while saying, "Your skin too sensitive". Oh man, those days are gone. Luz runs a spa really. They do all sorts of treatments, but the haircut and shave is the best there is. There is a hot towel to open the pours, a killer shave, and a cold towel to close them again. Every time I leave this place I think to myself, " Damn, that is a great haircut" and it directly effects my attitude. I will wait months, which is way too long, but I prefer to get my hair cut here more than anywhere I can think of in North America.
