This is a bar with a difference! They like setting fire to shots in here and the cocktails are cheap, but potent. Best thing is to get one of the kegs of cocktail. The mango one was especially nice and it crept up on us all slowly. After 4 glasses I felt a bit rosy in the cheeks and wobbly on my feet.
Then came the flaming shotsthey poured alcohol on the bar itself and set that alight before I could have my drink which had a ring or fire burning around it. After a quick blow and lots of cheering, down the hatch it went and it tasted not too bad!
After two of those I felt I had experienced enough theatre for one evening and did the wise thing and drank some water!
There was a very friendly crowd of people, mostly locals and and a few people from Lyon were also in the fold.
It is mostly full of students, but it isn't grim because of that factor, it makes the space very free and chilled out. read more
