My Mother and I took care of the arrangements and if it weren't for Bob at Rice J F Funeral home, I don't know how I would have gotten through it. Not only did he give us very personal and compassionate service, but he went out of his way to take care of many small details that were important to us. For example, half of our family is Jewish and the other half are religious Christians. Bob printed memorial cards with and without the crosses so that everyone could have one. Bob also prepared my Grandfather for burial. The makeup that my grandfather wore was not orange or garish in any way which was a huge concern for me. If you've ever seen someone with poorly done funerary make-up you know what I mean. The thing that impressed me the most was that Bob took care of the paperwork quickly and efficiently. When my Grandma went to the Social Security office to take care of the necessary paperwork, it had already been filed. Thank you for making our lives easier in such a hard time so that we could concentrate on healing.

Fast forward 12 years later, my mother passed this Feb and Steve the new funeral director helped us this time around. Steve was also very kind and helpful. Communications were rapid and right to the point, and amazingly understanding. It is so important at the time of grieve to have this type of communication.
