My Mother and I took care of the arrangements and if it weren't for Bob at Rice J F Funeral home, I don't know how I would have gotten through it. Not only did he give us very personal and compassionate service, but he went out of his way to take care of many small details that were important to us. For example, half of our family is Jewish and the other half are religious Christians. Bob printed memorial cards with and without the crosses so that everyone could have one. Bob also prepared my Grandfather for burial. The makeup that my grandfather wore was not orange or garish in any way which was a huge concern for me. If you've ever seen someone with poorly done funerary make-up you know what I mean. The thing that impressed me the most was that Bob took care of the paperwork quickly and efficiently. When my Grandma went to the Social Security office to take care of the necessary paperwork, it had already been filed. Thank you for making our lives easier in such a hard time so that we could concentrate on healing.

Kurt was the utmost compassionate and patient and went above and beyond and out of his way to enable my father's services to occur the way I had hoped them to, all while being mindful of cost. Kurt is knowledgeable, sympathetic, and impressively always answers the phone after only a ring or two.
