We ordered the 8 course menu with a Prosecco as a welcome drink. There were many exciting varieties consisting of fish, shellfish, meat and a dessert. Some of the dishes challenged the taste buds but it was very tasty. The only thing that was a little bit 'disappointing' if I may say so, was the meat course which consisted of a kind of taco-course with pulled pork and tortilla. Please don't misunderstand - it tasted good but compared with the rest of the dishes it was a little bit more like something you serve home with your family a a Friday evening. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The interior is stylish and has an exclusive touch. Are you are a party of several persons who want to enjoy a good meal in a social setting, this place is perfect.

Just because it "fits" doesn't mean it looks good. Granted the bar can't control who comes here...well they can, but they wouldn't have a lot of customers if they denied these girls. The bartenders here suck too. They have no idea what Midori is, which tells me you need to take yourself out of the bartending game. The floors and tables tend to be sticky and the bathroom is filthy. This is just not the place for me and I would rather cross the street and go to Justisen, which is probably one of my least favorite places in Oslo.

In the mood for some well tasting tapas and bobbles?? Champagneria is definitely the perfect spot…read morefor well tasting finger-food, deep conversations (or small talk if you are on a first date) and of course bobbles in all price ranges. Of course the best thing you do is order a Champagne, but if you do not want to spend NOK 900++ you go for something cheaper like Cava or Prosecco. Personally I do not mind the Crèmant BFF Stèphane Tissot from France (NOK 690) and the Ramon Primero Brut from Spain (NOK 395). Champagneria gets very crowded on the weekend, so definitely make a reservation. During the weekdays you should be able to do a walk in for the restaurant. Keep in mind that in order to be seated in the restaurant area you will have to order food. They do however have a bar section just for drinking so you can definitely enjoy those bobbles without food!

The place itself is shabby and not very inviting. The service is not this place's best quality either. And the food? Mediocre at best with appalling prices. I had the bacon cheeseburger, but the burger was raw on the inside (I did not ask for rare), and my friend's nachos were somewhat stale and not well-seasoned. The only thing good about my dish were the fries. But that's about it. Won't be coming back because the food just didn't justify the price.
