It went from looking for an easy place to get wine at 9am, to an all morning wine affair with the hints of spicy Vesuivian soil. We requested a white wine and were surprised with a full spread of bar snacks and extremely professional bottle service. He asked where we were from, our names, and even personalized a plate of melted chocolate welcoming us from the USA. They had a nice selection of salads, sandwiches, sweets and more, and even sold wines by the glass and beer! I also got a cup of espresso to go with my treat. The pastry was crispy and fresh, and the espresso was super strong. It was a little difficult to order (just like it is at most places in Italy); remember that you have to be aggressive and not just politely wait in line. I paid less than $3 U.S. for my late afternoon pick-me-up treat. A great spot for a quick snack before catching your train.
