The drinks are fairly cheap and they always have some sort of promotion on as it is very student friendly. There are areas for dancing, standing around (if your not a dancer) and also areas that you can sit down where it is quieter and have drink and a chat. I always find it is very clean there and the staff genuinly seem to be having a good time there. They quite often do personal appearances for minor celebrities - which usually are rubbish but it brings a bit of energy to the night. One that you cant go wrong with!

I think the main focus of jesters is navy men and drink, there is no character to the place and you certainly would not be looking for your lifetime partner in here. the music is fairly good, with most up to date chart music being played. drinks are ok but the weekend evenings see the prices very expensive for the venue in my opinion. I think the main thing i don't like about this is the seedyness of the place - it seems to be a bit rough and i have felt intimidated being here at times.overall would probably not go here too often.

The place will never win any cleanliness achievements but the atmosphere in the club is amazing. The music was always hard trance or hard techno, or in fact any style of music with a 4-4 kick beat behind it. The sweaty mass of people who stagger and dance on each others bags make this venue an alternative choice for most. The beers were fialry reasonable i seem to remember, but then im not sure whether they actually had a licence to serve after 4 in the morning. Certainly not for the faint of heart.

The tramps cafe itself is grotty, and I found the staff rude. The food is alright, if you just need to eat something after going out!
