They are pretty clued into the local art scene and have regular receptions and even some live music on special occassions, I *think*. The owner is just the kind of wine nerd you want to consult with. He's very softspoken and sweet, and knows each wine like it's his beloved child. Only catch is, their liquor license doesn't allow them to sell wine without food, so you're "forced" to eat. No big-name wines (or prices!) here, just tasty juice and fun wines, at the best kind of place to meet friends over a glass or two. There's a charm inside with wine barrels as tables, a big chalkboard with specials of the day and more offerings, and a small light-food menu. I had a glass of rosé for 4.50, and delicious St. Marcellin for 5 euros. Relaxed and chill, highly recommend, I always stop in when I'm in Aix.

We actually came to this place a few times during our 4 day stay in Aix.One of the days we were fortunate enough to meet the owner and have a glass of wine with him. He's extremely friendly and really knows his wine. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I fell in love with Aix and I think this little place was a large portion of the reason why.
