Not only is the wine great, but the people who work there are incredibly friendly. We actually came to this place a few times during our 4 day stay in Aix.One of the days we were fortunate enough to meet the owner and have a glass of wine with him. He's extremely friendly and really knows his wine. I seriously cannot recommend this place enough. My husband and I fell in love with Aix and I think this little place was a large portion of the reason why. Who knows, maybe one day we will own a little apartment in Aix so that we can come to Au P'tit Quart D'Heure on a daily basis :) Whatever you do, dont leave Aix without coming here and having a glass of rose.

They are pretty clued into the local art scene and have regular receptions and even some live music on special occassions, I *think*. The owner is just the kind of wine nerd you want to consult with. He's very softspoken and sweet, and knows each wine like it's his beloved child. Only catch is, their liquor license doesn't allow them to sell wine without food, so you're "forced" to eat. I have found the service kind, however, one specific time I was told to sit anywhere when I was there for brunch with a group of three. We sat down and had ordered when someone different came over and told us the table was reserved. We were then moved to a table clearly made for only two people. There was no signage on the table that it was reserved and the server didn't seem particularly happy we hadn't known this. Other than this time, the service has always been kind and I always enjoy the food.

They ask you not to work there at certain hours (very fair) but it is set up for you to do so! Staff is all multi lingual in French and English, or at least enough to get by, and they even have an English language menu. Don't worry, the food is high quality French and the coffee is superb. You of course get the typical for France espresso, but you can also get French Press, drip, and other styles of coffee. Overall, just a pleasure to visit and enjoy
