I went to cheers karaoke on a Wednesday night in Madrid. I was there with my friends and we had a…read morereally good time. When we were leaving, my friends were messing around with one of the mannequins they had in their place. I know it wasn't ideal to be messing with it, however how they treated me specifically because of it was completely unfair, unjustified, and so wrong. I got slapped across the face because I apologized to the bartender for my friends messing with the mannequin. The bartender and two of his coworkers followed me outside and pressed me up against a wall solely because I apologized to them. I understand they have a hard job as a bartender, and a bouncer, however, my apology for my friends's actions shouldn't be treated with a slap across the face. No bartender should be touching me because of how my friends's actions are. I went and took the high road and apologized for my friend's actions and I physically got touched and kicked out of the bar because of it. Do not come here. Btw the bouncer was the fat dude

Okay, so I'm giving the spot two stars but I will preface my review by saying that I expected a…read morekaraoke experience and not a bar experience, and this place heavily leans towards a regular bar experience. We paid $12 per person at the door which was honestly totally fine because the ticket they give you counted for two drinks per ticket so it was totally worth it. I don't know if the speakers were faulty the night that we were there or what, but you could barely hear the people singing karaoke at all. They have a little stage at the end of the bar, so I thought that maybe the sound was only meant to be in that area, but you could very faintly hear the mic singing throughout the entire bar, and the screens with the lyrics are throughout the entire bar, so it was just very weird to me that you could really only hear the karaoke track and the background singing. The overall atmosphere is a mixture of youngish people, and then more middle-age people which honestly I love that sort of vibe in a karaoke bar, but the fact that I literally couldn't hear any of the people singing, just ruined it for me. I however if you're just looking for a fun comfortable bar and you don't necessarily care as much about the karaoke, this is a totally fine option.
