I wasn't aware of Bar Kada until a friend told me they had pool tables. I decided to check it out after seeing Monday night Singo Bingo, 10 wings for $10, & happy hour. When I arrived the crowd was very light. The server was very attentive and the music was pretty good. Customers were able to play music on their Touch Tunes jukebox. I took advantage of the 10 for $10 wing special & in ordered the red chili hot and Parmesan garlic. I liked the red chili hot. I enjoyed playing on the pool tables. Ordered the Crawfish special 5lbs for $35. It was ABSOLUTELY NOT 5lbs and seasoned with many many jalapeños. I'm open to trying different things but the TexMex Crawfish was awful. My first visit here today for April tournament and I got here early so I decided to have a drink. First impressions are good except the music might be a little rough for my taste. Decided to watch the NBA Finals game here with my family and it kind of felt like my childhood. First I tried their roti and curry dip. I liked it. The roti was warm and the curry dip was flavorful. It was also $2 taco night. They were out of chicken, no problem, so I went for a pork taco and a beef taco. The pork taco was nice and savory, and the beef taco tasted very similar to a BBQ beef I used to eat growing up. The "taco shell" was the roti. I also wanted their Sous Vide Pork Belly Banh Mi since it sounded like an interesting variation of the famous Vietnamese sandwich. They were out of the pork belly (bummer) so I opted for the Bap Bowl with the pork bulgogi. In my opinion, it was too much rice and not enough meat although it was tasty. I didn't really think it was worth the price tag either. For drinks, I had the Kadito. It's similar to a mojito, was a tad sweet for me, however it was a refreshing cocktail. I love supporting local Filipino businesses, but this spot isn't necessarily my favorite. I probably would only return for $2 taco night. read more

This is a decent place with lots of TVs for a drink and bar food. We stopped by on a Friday evening after realizing that we were hungry and it'd take too long to get a table at a local new restaurant We started off with the Sriracha Fries which were okay. Unfortunately they were just plopped on our table without the dipping sauce and it took awhile for me to flag down someone to point this out. (The server that dropped it off was not the same as the one that took our order, and even our OG commented that we should've had silverware, plates AND the sauce). The Paratha Tacos were OK. I liked the uniqueness of using paratha as a tortilla, but the fillings weren't the most flavorful. I also thought that the amount of protein seemed a bit skimpy. The Adobo was also just okay. Maybe I haven't had authentic adobo, but I expected the sauce to be thicker and less oily. Also I didn't realize the pork would be pork belly (Which I normally love), and the cuts were like 75% fat over protein. I ended up taking half of it home bc I needed to split up the heaviness. We really did not enjoy our experience here. We came by around 5 o' clock on a Friday, and it looked like only 1 person was working in the front of the house. Someone from the back of the house asked us to sit where we please, and so outside we went. The tables were all pretty dirty, and did not look like they were well kept, and being wiped down regularly. All of the ash trays looks well used and full as well. It took some time for the server / bartender to take our drink order, and when she did, she was not quite sure what was on the happy hour menu. Eventually we got our drinks, and ordered the bulgogi fries, and some of the shrimp chips (these are free, so that was pretty cool). For having 10 people in the restaurant, it took way too long for the fries and chips, a solid 12 minutes at least. When the food did come, we did not get any silverware, napkins, or plates, and had to wait longer for those. The fries were ok, although a bit heavy for me. I did enjoy the shrimp chips, and being free was definitely cool. I really had high hopes for this place, but the food and service was absolutely trash. No way would I come back. read more

This spot is Viet/Filipino influenced and nothing shy about their flavor. The crawfish is Viet Cajun which means it's southern style mixed with a Vietnamese fusion. The crawfish sauce/gravy is butter-based sauce that mixes lots of garlic with seasonings such as ginger, peppers, scallions, orange wedges, and lemongrass. Nothing brought to us, and I was kinda hungry. So I went yo the bar and asked her again. She looked at me so I thought she'd get it. I stood there, no help. So I thought maybe after she services the guys she should bring us our forks. After I told my guy, I decided to go to the car and get plastic forks that I had in the car. Guess when I left to get my fork and my guy asked, he was helped with some forks. Cool place, maybe I'd go back if I am with dudes, but prob not the place for girlfriends. The Bar Kada in Sienna is managed very poorly. I had a small get together there April 16. I had emailed twice and left a vm and never heard back. It was lifeless and the food choices were second to none as my party was told the kitchen was not fully staffed? Really? But the table of 8 that came in well after mine was greeted by I assume was the owner/manager and had a table full of different foods.
