I believe Es Claustre is a combination of multiple entities - club, restaurant, concert hall, meet & greet spot, and the list goes on. The vibe of Es Claustre is super chill with slightly thumping house/electronic music playing, so you can have the option to chat, dance, and/or sit at one of the many tables. Since Menorca is kind of small, I got the sense that almost everyone at Es Claustre either knew each other or knew of each other (unless you were tourist). That said, most of the patrons were pretty friendly towards tourists. I might have had a difference experience because I was visiting with someone from Spain and other person who lives on the island. The staff was pretty friendly, and I thought drink prices were fine compared to other restaurants and bars in the area. My only minor complaint: it was extremely warm in the lounge area. Other than that minor issue, I would gladly return to Es Claustre. In fact, during our 3-night stay in Menorca, we visited Es Claustre every night so it definitely stayed on our to-do list.
