I decided put this review because even though food wasn't that good I left the restaurant not only…read moresmiling, but laughing. And this was the situation: I was waiting for my sandwich, when an english speaking girl came to the counter and asked staff if anyone can speak english. A team member called from the kitchen came out to take the order. A girl ordered a meal with water to drink. Team member started assembling the meal but came back asking about the water: -"Is the water with gas or without gas?" - What?- a girl seemed confused. - Do you want gas with your water or not? - Pardon?! - Gas - You know, open and "sssss". By then I was shaking trying to stop laughing. I explained that they mean fizzy water (with gas) or still(without gas). When I got my sandwich, I left still laughing. An extra point for creative team member - even not knowing the word she was trying explain what she wanted to say:-) The sandwich was just OK (as I was hungry and in a hurry that day). Very little sauce made it feel dry . I was there just past lunch rush. Restaurant was quiet but the tables still not cleaned after lunch time. No toilet paper on toilet. Over all 2 stars for restaurant and one extra for entertainment! :-)

I had passed this very new McDonalds not far from the hotel and I figured it would make a simple, familiar breakfast. The food was good. I was learning that Poland does lattes differently than what I expect. Not unusual to them, they serve warm (not hot) coffee in plastic cups with cold whipped cream, chocolate, and blueberries on top. (See photo) Very pretty while being strange to me. My stomach was still recovering from travel and in retrospect I should have chosen hot tea for that and gotten this latte at another time. The outdoor seating area is lovely. While being located on a main road, it offers some privacy. What little quirk did I love the most??? That the children's happy meals are served with hot tea! I would recommended this as a visit. While being familiar, it has some differences to appreciate. It's also very clean and modern.
