This was one of my favorite spots to come eat and chill while living at Poznan. This bar has great…read moreatmosphere. Service was fantastic and bartenders are awesome. The burgers are amazing but you can never go wrong with cowboy fries and a lech pils, even thoe it is pricey. They also have cherokee on Fridays.

SO two recent experiences - first, I went in to watch the FA Cup final - there was NOBODY in there…read more I asked if they were showing the match, and was told no because they had a lot of reservations for MMA later. I'm not sure why they couldn't show the match and THEN MMA, but sure whatever. I left, and went to a place actually showing the match. Second, a friend and I went in to watch the Champions League final. Now I will actually give them credit - you can see the televisions from probably every table in the place, and the screens are good quality. We didn't sit by the big screen, but rather we had a great view of two other screens. Football everywhere! That said, the place is (and always has been) ridiculously overpriced. Everything in here is even more expensive that anywhere else in town. The cheapest glass of wine is 24 PLN? The cheapest bottle 90? There are loads of wine bars around where you can get much better prices! The beers and cocktails are also overpriced. The food as well is overpriced, again particularly so in comparison to other places in town. Service, when you can get it, is friendly. However, the servers like to spend most of their time chatting with each other either at the food window or behind the bar. Not really the best way to make customers happy!!

Lunch is probably not the most busy time for restaurants in Poland as the majority I have visited…read moreare never particularly full. Or maybe I just choose wrong, but I don't think so. On a cold saturday afternoon went there for a late lunch and had no reservation, which was not a problem as explained previously, there were only 2 other tables being used at the time. The starters are a bit pricey so we skipped for soups as it was cold outside. I had the Zupa pomidorowa z kluseczkami z kurczaka i szpinaku (tomato soup with chicken and spinach dumplings) and my girlfriend had the Sycylijska zupa z łososiem, sandaczem i krewetkami (Sicilian soup with salmon, pike-perch and prawns). Both of them were very good but I always think soups are overcharged everywhere, they were good enough to make us full after it and even saying that if that was the only thing we ate it would have been ok. But we wanted more... we had ordered two pasta dishes: Ravioli z udźcem sarnim na sosie nelsońskim z podgrzybkami (Ravioli with venison on nelson sauce) and Tagliatelle szpinakowe ze świeżym łososiem i tartym imbirem (Spinach tagliatelle with salmon and ginger). One of the best pasta restaurants I have tried in Poznan. Pasta was al dente and not overcooked and the filling of the raviolis was just superb, so was the taggliatelle I had. They also have a large selection of steaks which we did not try. Didn't even look at desserts as we were so full there was no point. Overall really nice restaurant that will deserve a second visit.
