The downside is that drinks are quite expensive and it is a little out of the way as it is in Marina di Pisa. There is a regular bus service running from Pisa bus station to Marina di Pisa though but it stops around midnight. I would say it is well worth the effort though.

We came to visit here during their slow winter season where most of the town was closed but highly appreciated Portovecchio being open for us. You can purchase wine and drink it there or even take it away! There is a big space in the back with arcade games and TV's for watching sports. This is close to the water and right off of Aurelia which is the main highway. We will definitely be back our next time!
