The teller stated that i should wait longer because it was the weekend(even though i deposited the check at 10am the previous day). I informed the teller that i was closing my account once the check clears. The teller smiled and said we will see. By Tuesday the check still had not cleared. I contacted the bank only to find out the teller put the check through the fraud department so that it will take 2 more weeks to clear. The joke was on the teller because i had my employer to cancel the check and write another check. I pray for the miserable evil that lurks the earth. I am staying away from chase bank.

They kept sending payments and Wells Fargo kept sending them back. We put a stop payment and got an email from Fiserve, which processes PNC's online banking that our online banking was frozen until we paid $122-the amount of the loan payment. We paid it to get online banking open again, even though the loan was ALREADY PAID OFF. PNC said they could do nothing and we are out $122.

I found out when I tried to fill my gas tank on my way home. The "fraud prevention" hotline refused to unblock my card, and I had to limp home on fumes and a prayer, sweating and fretting the whole way. When I went to the bank to close my account, they were completely indifferent to the inconvenience they'd caused me and to the loss of my account. They didn't even bother to ask if there was anything they could do to change my mind. Apparently, the business of an average working person is of no consequence to them. I recommend you find a bank that appreciates your business. That's what I'm doing.
