He recommended oral medications, and topical applications to augment the laser treatments to achieve efficacy. He did not perform any liver function screening prior to prescribing Lamisil which is extremely toxic to the liver. I was charged hundreds of dollars for this care plan. I was informed that 15% of patients who underwent this therapy to treat toenail fungus failed to achieve a good result. I was informed to return for follow up in two months. Upon my follow up visit I was made to wait over an hour. The doctor saw other patients who arrived after me. I left the office in frustration. The receptionist/tech apologized. I never received any sort of follow up from Dr. Ripepi. It is now months later and my toenail fungus has not resolved nor improved. Save your money if you are considering this treatment plan. Everyone I have spoken to has also not experienced a good outcome. We can't all be in the 15%.
